Attn. Dr. Neil Madhawan : for my son
Dr. Niel, as you had suggested, I am starting a separate thread for my son. I hope you and other docs over in this forum will be able to help me.My son is 18 months old. He is healthy and very active. Is on the smaller side weight wise. He is getting canines these days. Each time he got his tooth, he got cold and cough but never upset stomach. He holds his breath while crying and sometimes holds it for longer and turns blue. He eats home made fresh food all the time.
He had diarrhea on Wednesday, which gave him a bad diaper rash. It changed to semi solid stool on Saturday, but he is still going potty after every meal. Its still very watery most of the time and semi solid 1-2 times. No vomiting or any other symptom. Stool is not too smelly, is mostly brown in color.
I am worried for him since it has been almost 5 days since this started. Pls help.

There were no other complications other than diabetes, normal timely delivery. I was on great health too. He was a normal child with a weight of 6.5 lbs. No other health issues.

If the condition persists, please give him three wet doses of Arnica 6c separated by 20 minutes each on a single day.

Dr. Neil, he is doing much better now. I gave him Arsenicum Album 30 one dose on Wednesday and that has given him a lot of relief.
I am also giving him Bio Chemic #21 everyday thrice a day. Rash is gone now.
The only problem I see is that he was going potty only once a day before and since yesterday it is thrice a day and kind of loose. Secondly, it seems that he is least interested in food, is there. He is always fussy when I serve him food as if he is not interested in food at all. He likes to drink milk. He has no interest in new foods. Kindly suggest some remedy for this. Shud I still give him Arnica (I have 30 potency) ?

My son has a cold right now. It started on Sunday evening after he had a hair cut followed by a shower. He has a runny nose (discharge is clear so far) and his eyes seem as if he is sick. No temp. yet but he is very irritable. He is sneezing a lot.
I have given him some haldi milk and one dose of Dulcamara 30 since yesterday. Pls suggest. He has his daily dose of Bio # 21.

Thanx Dr. Neil, will try and report back. We took him to the ENT specialist this month and he said there are no problems with him. No explanation for his breath holding.
I wanted to ask you about ear infections. Both my kids swim and since the last two days their middle ear seems more red and swollen than usual and they are putting their finger inside. I don't see any fluid. No pain or fever yet.
1. Is there a preventive medication against such kind of inflammation ?
2. Is there a medicine that I can give them on a weekly/monthly basis that wud prevent future ear infections or swimmers ear ?

Silecia is known to give excellent results in case of swimmer's ears. You may like to put them on Silecia 6x, 3 pills 3 times a day. Being a biochemic salt, it can be taken for any amount of time.
I would also recommend some ear guards, if they are available.
