homeopathy script question

I have been asked over the internet to take
Cyprum Met 6c 4dr. pills no.40, 2 pills a dose, 3 times a day.
6c is the potency.
4 dr is 4 dram (quantity)
what is no.40

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.

Assume you mean Cuprum met , can only think the 40 refers to a pill size . Normaly 6c is enough.

A homeopath thinks it is 40 pills, which does not seem to be true.

No such thing as taking 40 pills, it is the size of the pellet or granule. Sabra

But local pharmacies (in Greece) do not understand a size of 40. They use the german school of homeopathy.
They go by 6c (the potency).
