Can the allopathic & homeopathic medicines be given simultaneously?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Yes from my personal experience. I have asked my patients who are hypertensive, diabetes, asthma etc to continue the allopathic medicines along with the homeopathic prescribed by me. After sometime I gradually trapper the allopathic medicines. I never ask my patients to restrict diet, except where ever medically necessary (as sugar in diabetes , reduced or no salt in renal disorders etc.,)
Interestingly, in what ever may be condition, if the patient is on homeopathic medication for some condition he will be requiring a reduced allopathic dose (as sort of synergy)for the same condition. It is an interesting debate where to my knowledge many homeopaths follow and NEVER admit in public. Why?

We had a debate on this at ABC Forum ..some years back...with some acrimony from some less informed people.

You will find details in the back pages of ABC Forum.

I distinctly remember that during the debate I had reproduced a message from the British Council of Homeopathy...who had suggested that there was no problem in continuing with allopathic meds while the homeopathy meds began to show their results. The allopathic meds could then be gradually reduced or discontinued.
