Warts

I've tried Thuja as recommended by my repertory but has no effect. Is there a medicine that will remove warts and if so is it taken orally or applied externally?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please give more details about yourself as a person and the location of the warts, modalities, etc.

The wart, which is the only one I have, is located just a bit to the right of the center of my left buttocks halfway the distance to the anus. I don't think that could be classified as a genital wart, but I'm not sure. I've had it for maybe 10 years. I've had several warts when I was a teenager on my fingers, but I would burn them off by going under the wart with a needle and heating the other end of the needle with a cigarette lighter and burn the roots. A bit painful, but very effective. They would never return. I would do the same with this one, but due to it's awkward location, I'm unable to apply my treatment. It doesn't bother me. It is flat, but that may be from sitting on it all the time that caused it to flatten out to where its top surface sets about a half millimeter above the level of the surrounding skin. It is about the size of a penny in diameter. It doesn't itch nor bleed. It's difficult to see, but its surface is not perfectly smooth to the touch with a few small peaks and craters and on one edge there is a small piece, maybe a millimeter or two in length that hangs out that I can catch and pull with my fingers. It appears to be slightly pinkish in color, but that may be from always sitting on it. I tried drinking a teaspoon daily of Thuja 30 for a week or so but didn't notice any change.

I'm generally in good health. The wart doesn't pose a problem but it would be nice if I could get rid of it. It's the only one I have and it's been there for maybe 10 years or more.

I'm 63 and live in Costa Rica and eat lots of good fruit and veggies. Glass of fresh squeeze orange juice with pineapple and dark brown sugar (tapa dulce) for breakfast everyday. And then corn meal mixed with oats, linseeds, and barley. I like and eat too much salt. I need to look into a remedy for that. Don't smoke, and once a month I may have a cup of coffee or an occasional beer.

I had a local nurse take a blood sugar test yesterday and had 95 mg. per deciliter and my pulse was around 120 over 78 if I recall. I'm 5'8.5' tall, 165 lbs and kind of hunched with shoulders forward. I am bald on top with hair around the sides of the head. Teeth are even and touching nicely. No unusual extremeties in facial features except for my nose which is narrow and a bit long I find. Being from French ancestry, that seems normal from looking at other French people. My fingernails are slight pinkish with no unusual lines, colors, or shapes. Sometimes I get a headache that may turn into a cold maybe once or twice per year, especially if I get rained on, that last a few days and most of time it falls into my lungs and I may have a cough for a while with clear thick plegm that I spute out. My lungs seem to be very susceptible to ailments which I think is hereditary. My father died from emphazima, but he also smoked which didn't help. I also have a son that was asthmatic until about 15 years old and I put him on a vegetarian diet with herbs and in 6 months had virtually cured his asthma which in 10 years allotropic doctors had failed. Getting back to the cold and my lungs, I generally take rhs-t 30 for a day or so. Works good then I take pho 30 once or twice a week after that for a few weeks. Certain foods I notice tend to produce much phlegm in my throat and resperitory system, especially if I eat a lot of rice. At night I have to spute up several times because it wakes me up when I feel mucuos in my throat. I have no sleeping (insomnia) problem other than when I need to get up to urinate about 2 am and about 5am. The frequency depends on how much pepper, vinegar, or other acid or pungent foods I ate that day. I think these foods irritate my urinary system and give me the sensation of having to urinate. I have had urinary infections many years ago when I would ride my 4-wheeler on rough terrain it inflamed the area of the crouch. It was very painful for a while. Allotropic doctors gave me anti-biotics but that didn't work. I called an Herbal health institute in Alabama and they were very nice to me and recommended, over the phone, that I apply activated charcoal poultice over the painful area and drink waremelon seed tea and corn silk tea. I didn't have any of those herbs so I asked the person if he had those medicines and how much it would cost. He told me 20 dollars including the shipping. I was more than pleased to hear such an economical price when I had already spent several hundred dollars with no relief with the allotropic doctors and drugs. I immediately told him to ship it one day delivery. I received the medicine the next day, applied the activated charcoal poultice and woke up the next morning as if I had never been sick. I was totally amazed at how effective the treatment worked.

Now getting back to what I was saying about certain foods that irritate my urinary system. If I eat less or none of these type foods, I wake up less. I don't have a problem with the flow, so I know my prostate is OK and isn't swollen. A few years ago, I noticed that eating peanuts would cause me to develop an itch in the genital area and at times a small herpes sore would appear. I took sul and nux vom 30 and I think it has cured me, but I still stay away from peanuts. About 4 years ago I began to have gastritis problems and poor digestion with much stomach bloating and flatulence with pain in the pit of the stomach. It would cause me to have headaches. I discovered that the food I was eating in some of these local restaurants was cooked with lard. Also I discovered from trial and error that the hull from the black bean diet doesn't digest very well. Tomato peel also and that causes the fermentation and gas and bloating problems. That is when I went for the first time to see a 93 year old Homeopathic woman doctor who cured me. She never told me what medicine she gave me. However, I stay away from the lard restaurants and still don't eat much, but on occasion, beans, and a few other foods I've determined that may irritate the stomach. Many people die in Costa Rica because of stomach cancer. Everyone has stomach ailments. Thank God I was introduced to this Homeopathic woman doctor. My stomach ailments are now minimal to zero. I don't remember the last time I had a stomach problem.

When growing up, my appendicitis, tonsils, adenoids, were removed. I had headaches regularly when I was about 30 to 35 years old and after researching I discovered it was due to constipation. I solved the problem by first taking a daily coffee/herbal enema, proper diet with little or no red meat, pastry, white sugar, and dairy which produced much mucus in my throat and sinuses and nose, and went more toward a vegetarian diet. I also took and continue to take once or twice per week various herbs like cascara sagrada and quite a few others for prevention for the liver, circulation, prostate, etc. After a few months I no longer had headaches and felt real good and energetic and continue to do so. No aches or pains anywhere. My constipation problems are history. I go to the John everyday and sometimes twice per day. I walk everywhere. That amounts to maybe 1 to 2 miles per day. Sometimes I jog a little then I walk, then I jog, etc. I'm kind of hunch backed (Psoric type miasm I guess) and don't walk erect although I try to when I become conscious of it.

I'm pretty much of a perfectionist and like things to be done right and in good taste. I get upset when I see sloppy work, but I've gotten used to seeing it so much in this 3rd world country that I now tell the the locals to have at it and stay 3rd world if that's what you wish. I would never have any body down here work for me. I take too much pride in doing a good job. My fuse gets short in a hurry when someone does me a sloppy job. I would say that my emotions run medium to high. Especially when I was younger, but I've calmed down a lot now that I'm retired and enjoying life and don't have the worries of trying to make a living and the almighty dollar. I can't say that my 'get it done right attitude' didn't pay off. I'm now reaping the rewards. Thank the Almighty.

My main worry at the present is the high crime rate in this third world country of Costa Rica. I walk around with spray mace in my hand. I've had to use it on more than one occasion. I live in Costa Rica, but I'm looking for a safer place to go with less thieves. I know that shouldn't be hard to find. Living here is beginning to effect my thoughts and emotions in a negative way and that's not good. Every house here has so many iron bars in the windows with concerntina wire everywhere that it seems like everyone lives in a prison and the thieves are free in the streets.

Always been the active and curious and studious type. Crowds don't bother me, except here cause of the amount of thieves, but I can be alone and study on the Internet for hours, or prepare a meal, and feel perfectly content.

I like both indoors and the outdoors. I prefer the cooler, dry climate areas. I dislike hot, humid climate. The beach doesn't appeal to me.

I don't consider myself to be a big conversationalist. I generally let the others do the talking and I mostly listen.

I've pretty much covered all that I can think of. If any questions pop up, just write me. Thanks for considering my case.

Hi

Hi, your symptoms point to Thuja. Remember, this is a test remedy and we may have to change it going ahead or continue with it in higher potecy depending on how your body reacts to the remedy.

Take three wet doses of Thuja 200c separated by 4 hours each on a single day. Remember, the remedy does not have to be repeated after that, you have to take just three doses, no more than that.

For preparing a wet dose, follow this method:

- Procure Thuja 200c in dilution, preferably a 15ml sealed pack
- Put 2-3 drops from the remedy solution into a clear bottle containing some 200 ml of filtered/spring/mineral water
- One capful from the solution is one dose. You can use the cap of the same bottle
- Before each dose, thump the bottle against the palm of your hand for 8-10 times.

Precautions: Don't eat or drink anything 1 hour since prior to the first dose to 1 hour after the last. Avoid tea, coffee, perfumes, high protein diet for a few days.

Carefully note the action of the remedy and post back in 3 days from taking it. I will look forward to listening from you.

Best wishes

Niel

This person already tried Thuja - what potency was used that had no effect previously?

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
I missed that. Thanks for reminding.

Dear Herbert

What was the potency in which you tried Thuja and with what repetitions?

Niel

It could just be a potency issue - potency and remedy have to be correct in some patients :)

I was taking the Thuja 200 globules. I would disolve 1 globule in 5 ounces of water. Shake it real hard against the open palm of the other hand several times and would take one tablespoon twice every day for a couple of days and decided to wait to see if anything would change. Nothing happened. I tried couple of times more after waiting a week or so each time before repeating. Since I’ve last spoke to you, I investigated Causticum and seemed like it had some characteristics that may fit my case. I tried it and in a week or so I noticed the surface of the wart had some small dry crusty particles that I could scratch off. I still have a long way to go because it is a large wart but I did get, not much, but some positive results from the Causticum. About 3 days ago I decided to repeat and I took a one tablespoon dose of Causticum 200 and probably will repeat tomorrow. I hate to take to many medicines at one time because I just took some China for a slight headache and the sniffles. It always seems to help me for those particular symptoms..
