is there a subsstitute for plavix?
My 72 year old husband had leg artery bypass surgery 8 months ago. The drs.put him on plavix. He developed a bleed in stomach-severe anemia(red blood cell count of 6) -hospitalized-3 pts. of blood-advised not to take plavix-now his foot is very swollen and painful. Is there any hom.med.that would keep blood thin and/or prevent clots.?thanks so much!
