13 years acute facial eczema

Hi Docs,
My daughter 13 years old seemed to have a severe reaction to eye make up applied with a friend on a sleepover! Symptoms - severe itching around eyes, swollen eye lids, tightness around whole eye area & face, very dry flaky skin, ++ itching of eyes & face . Face now looks mask like & very blotchy. I gave her anti-histamine few days ago, it was worse yesterday, I gave her sulphur 60c yesterday & today but want to make sure it is the right remedy. Saw Dr today who gave us hydrocortisone 1% and emolient. She is very self conscious & I want to speed up healing process as she starts secondary school on Thursday. She had very mild eczema until she was 5 years old but that disappeared. Any suggestions please??

Hi

-Does she become easily vexed and angry?
-Is she moody and throws tantrums or is she mild and placid?
-How does she feel when alone?
-Has she any qualities of clairvoyance?
-Any instances of involuntary sadness with depression of spirits?
-How does she respond to tight clothing around her waist/neck?

Regards

Niel

Hello Niel,
Thankyou. Yes, she becomes easily vexed & angry, we put that down to hormones as she has gone thru puberty recently & used to be easy going. She is moody & likes her own way, seems like typical teenage stuff! She seems fine when alone, also loves the company of others & likes to laugh & interact with friends her age. No clairvoyance tendencies.Sometimes says her siblings and parents get on her nerves & says she is depressed, but this never lasts long & she is around looking for hugs & kisses then from us all. She is ok with tightness around waist & neck. She is quite self conscious and gets extremely uptight in new surroundings.Does not get enough sleep & says finds it hard to go to sleep at night.

Thank you very much to you both. The creams made her face better quite quickly, thank God, so all good now.
Thanks again
