Help!

Hi doctor, I get itchy/scratchy around my perineum/anus with mild moisture (occasionally). When water touches the area while having the problem its like a acidic reaction from within the skin which is really painful.

I've checked the on-line remedy guide and its come up with either Sulphur or Petroleum. As I've spent a lot of time driving automobiles in past past Petroleum seems more appealing? Is this correct? Also what dosage would you recommend. Thank you.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
please take three doses of Petroleum 30c at a gap of 4 hours for 3 days.
One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 4 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 3-4 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.
Please observe change in your symptoms for next 10-15 days. If there is no change, you should try Sulphur 30c in the same manner.
Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Thank you very much. So I am taking 4x30c tablets 4 times a day for 3 days? Could I try sulphur before the Petroleum or is it good idea to go for the Petroleum first?

Thank you

4 tablets of remedy thrice a day at a gap of 4 hours.
Petroleum first as Sulphur follows petroleum well. On the basis of your symptoms any of these remedies may help.

Thank you Doctor. I went to buy the tablets and it has given me option of various doses I'm getting the 30c ones right? Also I will be taken the tablets in the evening and during the night with a gap of 4 hours in between each dosage. If that's ok you don't need to reply. Thank you very much.

Hello Doctor,

I've taken the above petroleum doses as directed for 3 days.

During the time I was taking the medication I had no problem but the day after I stopped taking the tablets (yesterday) the problem came back very strongly, I had problem all night and I couldn't sleep either. Do I need to continue taking the medication further or does this mean its the wrong type?

Thank you very much for your help.

You have three options
1. You should continue with Petroleum 30c for 7-10 days.

2. You should stop taking the medicine and see whether the aggravation passes off and you are free from your problem without taking the remedy any further.

3. If at the end of the Option 2, the problem is still there, you should take Petroleum 200c three doses at a gap of 4 hours for one day and watch out change in your symptoms for the next 15 days.

In my opinion you should not leave the remedy Petroleum unless you have considered the above options.

Thank you for your reply doctor.

Ill try option 2 (wont take the medication any further) how long should I allow for this before I should give in and do option 3? Also the tablets I have are 30c ones. Instead of buying another dosage (even number) can I take a 210 dose or 180 as this is the number I can make with the ones I Have.

Does the reaction mean that this is the correct medication for my problem?

Thank you.

Regards

A 30c Remedy cannot be converted to a 180c remedy by making the dose size six times larger. It remains a 30c remedy only. So you will have to procure Petroleum 200c.

Ill try option 2 (wont take the medication any further) how long should I allow for this before I should give in and do option 3?
You should not take any medicine for 7-10 days and then you should execute Option 3.

Does the reaction mean that this is the correct medication for my problem?
Apperantly yes.
