Pilonidal Sinus

It has developed along the tailbone (coccyx) near the cleft of the buttocks.

I am suffering from pilonidal sinus

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?
Discharge of yellowish pus & sometimes blood as well from the Pilonidal Sinus in 2-3 days.


3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?
The mental feeling is that how long it will take time to heal knowing the fact that only cure in Allopathy is to get it operated and also there are quite high chances of recurrences after surgery.

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?
discomfort

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?
This started before a year.It may be connected with the problem when it started a year back with the blister kind of stuff over backtail (cocox) area.That time doctor told that it is due to extended tail, which may need to be operated.

6. Which time of the day you are worst?
no time

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?
When I sit flat on the floor laying down using my back and pressure on the bacl tail.

No affect of weather in this case.

I am agreeable and quiet

Nothng special as usual.

Yes

Normal behavior only.

- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless

No

- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife?
I am married and feel very secure with my family.

I dream of one situation or related to one subject repeatedly

12. What do you crave for in food items and what are your aversions?
I like home made food and sometimed Dosa etc. No Pizzas etc. Like fruit juice and Yoghurt.

Normal

Normal
15. Is there any kind of food which your body can’t stand?
No

My sweat is normal

Stool is normal but there is thye problem that ot is not everyday that I have stool in good manner.
18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping?
I do sleep 8 to 10 hours. No particular posture

Yes.
20. How do you think you are different from others, if at all?

Yeah. I am taking 2 medicines now since 10 days:
(1.) ACID Nitric
(2.) Calendula

22. What major diseases are running in your family?
For me allergic broncoitis (allergy with cold, ice cream and chilled items)

Good. Very attractive.

I would like to update you that I have been taking below:
(1.) ACID Nitric
(2.) Calendula
altermatively after 4 hours since 10 days.
Now, still I see pus drainage after 2-3 days of drynes. May be it is bec'z of sitting in office, in spite of I take care while sitting and sit vertically on chair.
Pleas advice if the medicions recommended by you are ok to proceed now under these conditions.
I am not sure how long more will it take to STOP the pus.

I contact a Homeopathy Dr. and came to know that the pus will discharge out of the affected area for long time (6 months may be) and Homeopathy medicine will take definitely long time like 10-12 months to get it cured.
Can someone on this forum please let me know if this is true and the pus will keep on discharging for long time.

I was very nervous knowing the fact theat it takes much time to get cured in homeopathy. But, now bit relaxed.
I will start the suggested medicine from today and update after 3 days.

I have started taking Calc Sulpha since 18th Sept and after every 2-3 days still my sinus discharges pus.
So, I am wanted to know from any Dr. for how long this pus would be discharging.
The shape of the area is still like 'chana daal' and the surrounding area is bit hard.
