Constant Sinus Infections

Please help!!!

I have allergies and am prone to sinus infections. I used to take a variety of meds and receive allergy shots, but have recently tried to go the homeopathic route- without much success. My sinus infections seem more frequent and more severe. Here is my current status.

I am a 36 year old, single female. I work as an elementary school teacher. I have had surgery for a deviated septum and use a sinus rinse daily, sometimes a couple times a day.

My current symptoms are constant pressure/congestion in the front of my head. It often makes me feel dizzy- especially when I stand up. There is often a 'fuzzy' with my eyesight as well. I do have some stuffiness in my nose and some runniness, but most of it seems to be in my head. I often have a lot of pressure at the top of my nose as well. I have a tickle in my throat and can often cough up some mucous, but there does not seem to be congestion in my chest.

My allergy symptoms started about 10 years ago and was always treated as a cold until about 2 years ago. I went for allergy testing and found out I am allergic to many things- except dogs. I started 3 different drugs and a nasal spray and went weekly for allergy shots. I had the deviated septum surgery. I did not like taking that many meds, so last year I worked with someone to find a homeopathic remedy, but nothing seemed to work. I tried pulsatilla and another remedy that he gave to me, not sure of the name- he called it M. I also tried calc carb??

It seems to be worse in humid weather. Worse in the morning- lots of mucous.

I feel better when lying down- usually face down- seems to release my sinuses.

I am not the greatest sleeper. I am a night person and do not like early morning alarm clocks. I rarely sleep through the night. I have very vivid dreams, but not recurrent dreams. Often dream about people or things I haven't thought about recently.

I am usually a very positive, easy going person. I am not usually a very emotional person, but have been recently. I feel very tired and irritable. I don't have much motivation to do anything and often want to be left alone.

A food I crave often is cheese, although I try not to eat it, because dairy seems to make my allergies worse. I like to eat foods such as popcorn, pasta, chips, pretzels, etc.

I have recently tried Kali Bich- after reading different posts. It does not seem to be relieving my symptoms. Any suggestions will be GREATLY appreciated. I do not want to go back to an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor, but can't imagine living my life feeling miserable everyday!!!
Thanks!!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
you take kalium muriticum 30c at a gap of four hours 3 times a day for one week.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

report me after 7 days

Thanks for your advice- I started taking the kalium mur on 9-15 and it definitely seems to be working. The only problem is that my head/sinuses seem to be draining into my ears. This happened once before also and I ended up with an ear infection. I have drops, but wanted to see if there is something you would recommend. Also, will I be able to continue with the kalium mur or will it continue to drain in my ears??
Thanks again!!
