Chamomilla and teething

My 11 month old baby boy has just cut his first tooth but his gums have been swollen and red for months. I am assuming this is the main reason he has had many sleep disturbances at night for several months. He would wake up crying and could not be comforted by anything. He usually has a calm and gentle disposition but is very affected by loud sounds, light and changes in temperature.
I tried giving him Chamomilla 6x twice to three times a day but he still woke up at night. Then I tried Chamomilla 30c once a day. Things got a bit better as he was not screaming that much when he woke up but he would still wake up 5-6 times at night.
I have been using one dose of Chamomilla 30c, twice a day for 4 days and he slept the full night without waking up once. When I lowered the dose he started waking up again.

Should I continue giving him this potency twice a day or is it too high? When should I stop using Chamomilla?

Another question I have is about his vaccines. His doctor is adamant on giving him his meningitis vaccine. We are trying to avoid immunizations but she insists that he should get this one done when 12 months old. should I give him Thuja before his vaccine and can how can this be combined with Chamomilla?
