Bacterial Vaginosis...plz hlp me

Hi Doctors. In May 2009 i suffered with thrush were i had severe itching of the vagina, 'cottage cheese' vaginal discharge and pain on sexual intercourse. For that condition i took SEPIA 200C till the itching and cottage cheese cleared up but the pain during sexual intercourse still remains to date. Last month I went to my family doctor about the pain and he suggested i have a pap smear test which i did and they found cin1 cells and that i have bacterial vaginosis. When i went to the gynocologyst for further tests with regards to cin1 he said that the cells are normal and seemed more interested in a POLYP that i have growing on my cervix. I dont want to take anti biotics for bacterial vaginosis nor do i want surgically remove the polyp on my cervix. I have taken KREOSOTUM 30C for the pain during sexual intercourse but havnt seen any real improvement. Can someone plz help me???

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
you can try NAT MUR 30C doses every 4 hours and see if the pain reduces.

Risimba hi. Thank you for your response. I've been taking nat mur 30c now for two days. With the first two doses i felt rather bloated in the tummy area and i had bowel movements as well. The pain in the vagina seems to have increased ever so slightly but has not yet subsided. How long before i start to see improvement with this remedy?

if the pain has increased after a few doses of nat mur, you should stop the remedy and wait for few days.

its expected that, if an aggravation of a symptom has happened, amelioration will take place.

please stop the remedy.

Rishimba Hi. Just letting you know that nat mur 30c worked wonders!! From when i stopped the remedy the pain lessened substantially in about 7 days. Since then though, i suffered again with a uti where i had frequency to urinate, the last bit of the urination was excruciating, and i had a constant urge to go to the toilet even tough i had just been and only dribbles would come out which were painful. For that i took Pulsatilla 200c which did nothing and then i tried Arg. Nit. 200c which gave me some relief from the frequency but not from the pain at end of urination. and also i noted that the symptoms returned the same time the following day, and as the days progressed the urging and frequency became better and so did the pain at end of urination. I am now presented whith a case of thrush. My symptoms are as follows: vaginal discharge which is white and lumpy and i have itching of the vagina, vulva, clitoris and anus. I also have pain during sex. My vulva feels sore and tender even without touching. The area is red and there is no distinct odour noticed. This onset came after my period on day 10 of my cycle, where the previous onsets were just before my period. I hope this helps you and I really do appreciate you taking

this calls for CALC CARB 30C one dose every 4 hours for some 2 days and watch the changes.

in case you get relief after the first few days, you can take the rest every 12 hours till the itching completely cured.

is it ok to take one dose of calc carb 200c?? only because i dont have it in 30c and tomorrow is a public holiday and i would really like to start the therapy asap.

p.p.kana last decade
no, you have to take 30c potency every 4 hours.

200c potency wont work initially.

however, after the itch reduces to a considerable extent, you can take 200c once every week for three weeks to avoid recurrance of the problem.

Rishimba hi. Just letting you know how the therapy went....: I took Calc Carb 30C every 4hrs for four days. I noticed the itcing had worsened substancially by the second day, but i still continued for another two days after that, and the itcing got a lot better. Now i get an itch very rarely. I once again am left with pain during sexual itercourse. I have also noticed that during intercourse i produce a lot of vaginal fluids or discharge that is very thin and watery that sometimes smells faintly of fish and other times it smells like onion. I also wonder what 'normal' discharge should look like. When i dont suffer with thrush my discharge is yellowish and thick and very string-like....i dont know if you're able to help with that at all?? Once again Rishimba I want to thank you very much for your time, you have helped me immensely in the past!!!

sepia and nat mur, both cover pain during sex with some other symptoms you have.

normal discharges during sex shouldnt have any strong smell.

in this condition, you can try sepia 30c one dose in the morning in empty stomach for some 2 to 3 weeks.

continue the doses for long till all your symptoms are relieved.

Hi Rishimba. Just letting you know how I'm progressing: started taking sepia 30c about a week and a half ago. I noticed that the pains i had in my stomach (which i did not give you s a symptom) were relieved within one minute of taking the remedy. As far as the pain during intercourse, that seemed to get worse (but strangely enough sometimes it wouldn't hurt as bad??) so after a week of taking the remedy i stopped it to see if the pain would subside. It started to feel a lot better the following 2 days but on the 3rd day my vagina is red raw, and burning. To touch it feels very saw and the labia minora are slightly swollen. Do i continue taking sepia?

Also if you are able to i would like you to prescribe something for my boyfriends back. He's a 41 year old with hazel eyes, 5'9' tall, medium build, positive character, very friendly and talkative. He injured his back 8 years ago leg pressing 225kg at a 45 degree angle at the gym. since then he has had on and off trouble with his back. The pain is in his lower left back
between L4 and L5 and with his current flare up his upper body from the waist is leaning to the right to compensate. The pain is described as a pinching pain and doesn't radiate down the legs or up the back for that matter. Its at its worst when he tries to get up from the seated position and if he leans slightly forward it hurts to support his upper body. It also hurt him during intercourse. Some morning he wakes up and hes not too stiff and others he is. light walking helps him sometimes. It has improved t times with movement/walking but this is not the case with this recent flare up. He does core work only at the gym and low impact cardio, no running. This injury has not subside for more than 9 months since occurring 2001. The flare ups are more frequent in the last 2 years, almost 2-3 monthly. Hope this helps you out Rishimba. Thanks for your time.

please continue sepia 30c as you have been doing. you can stop when you see that most of your sufferings are considerably reduced.

if there is a recurrance, you can start sepia 200c once every three days for some weeks.

for your boy friend, suggest him arnica 200c one dose in the morning and one dose of rhus tox 30c in the evening just before going to bed.

this should be taken for some 6 to 8 days and as soon as there is a change noticed, he should stop the doses.

take the doses in empty stomach and dont take any food or water one hour before or after.

Just letting you know my progress with the therapy on my back:

My back generally heals quickly and usually improvement starts after 5 days or so after a minor/moderate aggravation as I had experienced on this occasion. My back remained sore for about 10 days prior to commencng medication and spinal tilt to right had just settled when I commenced medication as per your advice. Healing process appeared accelerated particularly in first 3 days where back felt almost 'normal' again. Over next 5 days healing process was at a more expected rate to where back feels pretty good again.
Back still feel sore with prolonged sitting but to a lesser extent than previously.

Is this therapy meant for the acute flare up of my back? If so, is there something i can take to treat it on a chronic level so as to avoid any future flare ups as back problem seems to recur every 3 months or so.

p.p.kana last decade
whenever you have a recurrance of the symptoms, you can follow this method of treatment.

if you feel things have settled down for now, you can discontinue the remedies. however, if you feel that the pain is still there, just take the remedies for some more days.

you can keep 12c potency of both remedies with yourself incase there is a sharp and acute pain surge. in that case you can take it every hour for some hours.

on a chronic level, 200c potency taken once a week for some weeks would ensure long term relief.

it all depends on the internal pathology. as long as the internal pathology and tissue disorders are there, the remedies cant stop recurrance of the pain. once the body cures itself and the internal disorders and tissues get cured, the pain will also cease for good. this may take time and till that time, to help the body cure itself, you can take these remedies in infrequent intervals.
