The Organon - A Synopsis
Hi AllIn this thread, I intend to post a series of small articles on the essence of Organon - the bible of Homeopathy.
Organon is like a vast ocean. So much has been compacted in those little aphorisms that you get a different interpretation every time you go through them. This is a humble attempt by someone who has been studying through this great book for years but yet can introduce himself as only a naive student.
Hope this will help one and all in one way or the other. Any discussions would be most welcome.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
The Physician's Duty :
A true Physician is a healer - someone who is driven by a sole call of duty - to CURE the patient of his problems.
A true CURE involves perfect HEALING. I has to be accomplished in a manner which is:
- Speedy
- Gentle
- Reliable
In the above condition on healing is inherent the beauty of homeopathy. Modern medicine, wherever it claims to be speedy, is invariably associated with great harm on overall health of the individual treated. He has to face one of the two consequences:
- Side-effects
- Suppression
Both of above force an individual to compromise on his quality of living. While the former laves him reeling under the effects of the dangerous chemicals acting on his organs, the latter is even more dangerous as it leads to a lot more critical conditions affecting his health.
Homeopathy envisages a model of cure where the process of healing is gentle and speedy at the same time. A patient should not be spending a month recuperating after he has been declared as free from a disease.
Another feature of this process is reliability of the process of cure. This presents the finest ideals that physicians of all schools should strive for.
When a patient approaches a physician, it is the highest contract that the two enter into - THE CONTRACT OF TRUST. This trust of a person who is handing over the responsibility of his life and happiness is worth more than any monetary gains. A physician should never fail to realise this fact and should always strive to help his patients to the best of his ability.
Knowledge of the physician :
In order to stand up to the high ideals discussed above, a physician should have the required knowledge. By the knowledge of the physician, we mean the following :
- Knowledge of the PATIENT
- Knowledge of the DISEASE
- Knowledge of the MEDICINE
- Knowledge of the IMMEDIATE CAUSE
- Knowledge of MIASMS
- Knowledge of POSOLOGY
- Knowledge of SANITATION $ HYGIENE
We will discuss all of these in separate articles.

The physician, once he is sure that cure is POSSIBLE-a point we will further elaborate when we delve on the KNOWLEDGE OF THE PHYSICIAN, should strive to bring the patient back to health. You should try Nat mur 0/12 ad infinitum to get rid of this deficiency. 10 sucussions before each dose pleas!!!

Some people have no faith in homeopathy yet pose as homeopathic doctors. Such people are called 'mongrels'. They are neither here nor there.
I use LMs and get beautiful results from them.
Ignore those doctors and their prescriptions. They know nothing about homeopathy.
