peri-menopause bloat

Pls help. I'm suffering really bad peri-meno bloat and wondering if you can help.

Lower stomach looks like I've swallowed a ball - I'm presuming it's peri -meno bloat but it could also be a digestive issue. I feel like my weight just seems to increase no matter what I do.

Pls can you help or suggest a remedy that will balance out my hormones during the peri meno part of my life and get rid of the bloated fat belly.

I exercise and watch my diet so it's not fat.

Please please help.

1. Describe your main suffering?
Really bad stomach bloating and really bad constipation.
Can't have bowel movement without taking laxative and that sometimes doesn't work.


2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?

Bit headache and face puffs after eating certain foods



3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?

Depresses me because I can't look good in my clothes as I look 9 months pregnant all the time.


4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?

Uncomfortable - just want to hide away as I feel embarrassed that my tummy is so large when I eat healthy and exercise


5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?

No worse the last few months - seems out of control at the moment


6. Which time of the day you are worst?

As soon as I start eating it gets worse - mornings relatively flat - first bite of food I take it starts so by th eend of the day my tummy is huge now I'm scared to eat

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?

Eating and drinking aggravates, plain natural yoghurt with live cultures seems to help



8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?

No I'm peri meno so not suffering with pmt but think it could be hormonal related



9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?

Like hot weather, hate the cold

10. Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc.

Few mood swings but guess that's peri meno kicking in, I'm quite energetic, and friendly and good natured

- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm?

I'm fine

- Do you like being consoled during your tough times?

Sometimes and sometimes I just like to be left alone

- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc?

Very sensitive to smells and odours like paint, petrol, fumes, new carpets - it all bothers me

- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
weeping, talking to one self etc?

- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife?

Love them all

11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly?

Fear of being seriously ill - no repeat dreams


12. What do you crave for in food items and what are your aversions?

Crave butter and bread all the time - no aversions as such


13. How is your thirst: Less, Normal or Excessive?

Less

14. How if your hunger: Less, Normal or Excessive?

Always seem to feel hungry at the moment and I hate this feeling

15. Is there any kind of food which your body can’t stand?

Can't think of anything

16. Is your sweat normal or less or more? Where does it sweat more: Head, Trunk or Limbs?

Never sweat tend to be on the cold side all the time

17. How is your bowel movement and stool type?

Constipated - sometimes long thin pencil - othertimes bit like rabbit droppings

18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping?


Sleep left side curled like a baby - sleep not good but again guess that's peri meno

19. Do you think you are able to satisfy your sexual desires in general?

Yes -

20. How do you think you are different from others, if at all?

I'm like everyone else but everyone says I'm very very attractive


21. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication?

Magnesium and B6 takes the bloat away initially then it comes back but it's worse than before

Lycopodium - done nothing
Sepia - helped a bit



22. What major diseases are running in your family?

Arthritis


23. Describe, how do you look like? Describe your overall appearance

fairly small so can't afford to gain weight, petite, attracive always smart and tidy

24. (ONLY FOR FEMALES)

If you are not having normal menstrual cycles, please answer the following questions:

- Are the periods early, regular or late in general? How long do they last?
- Do you suffer from any kind of physical or mental discomfort before, during or after the periods?
- Is the flow scanty, normal or excessive?
- Is the blood thick bright red or pale watery?
- Do you notice any clots in the flow?

day 1 and day 2
please take arsenic alb 30c thrice a day at a gap of 4 hours.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 4 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 3-4 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

day 3 to day 10
please take 2 pellets each of the following tissue salts four times a day at a gap of 3 hours.
Kali Mur 6x
Natrum Sulph 6x

Please report after 10 days.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Please read my posts on the breathing exercises called as Anulom Vilom Pranayam and Kapalbhati Pranayam by following the links given below. Please practise these pranayams regularly for half an hour preferably in a garden early in the morning.
