Vaginosis / mixed infections of vagina 17

The ABC Homeopathy Forum

vaginosis? mixed infections?

Hi, I am 24 year old female, and i've been suffering from various infections for several years. It started before my first sexual intercourse. for years i've been having both bacterial and mycotic infections - discharges were wether white and cheeasy or yellow/transparent and yelly like.
I had a homeopathy consulatation when i was 18, first i've been prescribed magnesia carbonica, later pulsatilla, and a few more. they worked pretty well. i was almost fully succesful with pulsatilla - i haven't had any problems for a year, and at one point it all came back about 3 yars ago.

I had an infection about 2 months ago, doctor said it was a vaginomycosis, and prescribed me pimafucin, clotrimazol, and tantum rosa for irrigation. it was ok for a month and now it's back, but the discharge is liquid white, or jelly like (it comes out in kind of jelly bits), and i don't suffer form itching that much. What i feel i could describe rather as a general discomfort (except for the days of ovulation-it was really bad!), it feels like having sand in my vagina, it's rather tickling than itching, my external genitals are slightly swollen.
Recently I also started suffering from itching around my anus, i have a feeling like there was still some stool left, and i never feel fresh nor clean around rectum.

That is my main problem for now, it's really frustrating, becouse i never know when it's going to hit :( i'm scared to go to a swimming pool, or to a spinning class.
Since i was a child i also suffered from general digestion problems - i have problems with defecating, i suffer form often constipation, flatulence etc.
From age of 12 i have been having huge problems with accepting my body, since i can remember i am on diet. Now i don't starve myself, i eat very healthy food, i don't eat anything fried, oily, white bread, sugar, pasta, potatoes, I avoid sweets, though it's the only thing i can't cut out totally.
I workout a lot.

I have a sister, i come from a disfunctional family, my father is alcoholic - my parents got divorced when i was 16.
People find me as an attractive, self assured, and outgoing person. I'm always a type of a leader in a group, i am very ambitious, independent, and demanding towards myself.

I hope that informations i have given will be helpful.

From my own experience i know that homeopathy is the only thing that might help me so i would be grateful for any suggestions :)

ps. sorry for any mistakes, english is not my native language :)

Patient ID: Maja Sex: Female Age:24

1. Describe your main suffering?

intimate infections, constipation

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?

digestion problems, constipation, compulsive eating, painful ovulation & 2 days before period

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?

obsessive thinking about food, problems with accepting my body, problems with having orgasms, tendency to 'hurting myself' accidently - bruises, cuts from falling into objects, tripping - i'd say that it looks like i was terriblby clumsy, though when it comes to sports i have very good body coordination, and i am very fit.

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?

pain in lower abdominals, swollen, red and painful external genitals, itching, burning, stinging feeling inside the vagina, discharges (cheesy, white bits or jelly-like), itching around rectum,

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?

when i was about 12/13-started from having red, itching spots on my genitals. at one point they just disappeared and never came back. when i was about 17 i started having mycotic infections with white cheesy discharge, and terrible itching.

6. Which time of the day you are worst?

vaginal infections: morning, afternoon

itching around anus: afternoon, night

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?

aggravate: tight clothes, trousers, synthetic underwear, hot weather, sweating (sports), sex, sitting and then being in vertical position - walking or standing.

ameliorate: cool shower, loose clothes, lying down (helps when i have vaginal infections, but makes itching around my anus worse)

8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?
it gets worse when i change place, for eg; go away for a weekend, it's much worse before period, then after period it's ok for a while, then gets wors again during ovulation.

9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?
hot weather makes it worse, but cold weather is not good neither, becouse of layers of clothes i have to wear - tights, trousers ets.
i feel best when it's about 20 degrees celsius, and quite dry.

10. Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc.

I am sensitive, and very emotional, but my moods and reactions change a lot. one day i get tears in my eyes just from seeing a picture, or a commercial on a tv, other day i go to a touching movie and and don't feel any emotions at all.
In general i am a nice, likable and outgoing person, people find me energetic, bubbly and positive. Most people think i'm very self assured, and independent, but it's not exactly how i feel about mysefl. I laugh a lot i talk a lot i'm a type of a leader in a group.
I am quite inpatient, and often lose my nerves. I can be very sarcastic, and manifest my discontent.
I get very annoyed by slow thinking, shy or 'weak' people-i hate when someone doesn't understand what i'm saying - then I lose my nerves in a second, but try not to show it.
I often act very feminine, or even slightly erotic, people say i'm a flirt-sometimes i use it to play or manipulate men. It often makes most women very jelous, and hostile. On the other hand, just as often i look and act like a tomboy.

- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm?
i am sleepy, and have problems with concetrating,

- Do you like being consoled during your tough times?
No, i'd rather stay alone. I hate to think that people feel sorry for me. When i feel sad or weak and fragile on the inside, what i show on the outside is rather anger, irritation or general nervousness - i find those feelings more constructive.

- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc?
yes, i hate the smell of cooked meat, i like smell of burned mathches, and burned wood, smell of citrus fruits, carrots, smell of the seaside.
I can't fall asleep when the light is on nor when i hear any sounds-even a computer processor. I don't like the sound of the violin. I generally like low sounds, and low voices - high voices annoy me very much even when it comes to music.

- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
weeping, talking to one self etc?
since i was a child i had a habit of gentle touching of one hand's fingertips with the other hand. now i delicately rub fingertips with my nails-there's something about feeling the texture of my derematoglyphs when sliding through them with tip of my nails. I always found it very comforting and calming.

- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife?
I tend to neglect my family and friends-i keep promissing myself to call someone or txt someone but i always forget or find other excuses (even though i really like this person and want to keep in touch).
I have a small group of friends-they know almost everything about me, i don't keep anything to myself, which i sometimes regret.
I have difficult relationschips with my closest family. My sister (1 year older) is very close to me, and i can't imagine life without her, but she annoys me just as much. i hate the fact that we live together, though it's not really about her - i just like living alone, and have a strong need to separate myself from the 'rest of the world'.
I freak out when i know that someone was in my room while i wasn't there, i hate to think that someone touched my stuff or looked at it. I don't like to borrow things.
My father is alcoholic, i always had to fight for his acceptance and never felt good enough - he blamed me for the problems at home, and for his and my mum's divorce.
My mum has always accepted me the way i am, and i was always good enough for her-she's proud, and delighted with everything i do, and everything i achieve. She always thought of us as incredibly talented, and capable of achieving anything-her unbeaten faith in us sometimes makes me feel uncomfortable, and embarassed.
For the past 3 years i've been in a relationship with a married man. We have been braking up many times, and getting back together, i've had a few relationships between, but they were all mistakes. I still can't get over that toxic relationship, and still try to fix it, and finally get us to be happy together.

11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly?
I fear of spiders-i feel sick, and scream when i see them, which i can't control.
I fear of basements without windows, and a fact that i am under ground.
I have a one repeating dream of getting a period in a public place, or somewhere where i am not prepaired for it. I quite often dream of embarassing situations-being caught on doing something inappropriate, or not being properly dressed for the place, or having uncomplete outfit.

12. What do you crave for in food items and what are your aversions?
cravings: soups, cashew nuts, pumpkin seeds, natural joghurt, citrus fruit, sweet tomatoes, fresh carrots, red meat, salmon, herring, sauerkraut, blue cheese, cottage cheese, sour juices, ground coffee with milk, ice cream

aversions: liver, giblets, sausages, Brussels sprouts, bananas, grapes, warm milk, fruit tea, instant coffee, cooked carrots, fat meat, dark chocolate,

13. How is your thirst: Less, Normal or Excessive?
excessive-i drink a lot, i'm always very thirsty in the morning and in the evening, just before i go to sleep, even i drank a lot during the day.

14. How is your hunger: Less, Normal or Excessive?
my hunger is normal, but i think about food all the time, so my approach to food is quite compulsive.
When i am very busy, and happy i don't have time to think about it, and i eat what i want, and when i feel hungry, or when i have time to eat-at teese times i loose weight without any effort.

15. Is there any kind of food which your body can’t stand?
giblets make me sick, especially livers, i have huge digestion problems after fat cooking- i am bloated, have painful, loud and smelly winds.

16. Is your sweat normal or less or more? Where does it sweat more: Head, Trunk or Limbs?
normal. My hands and feet sweat only when i workout., most of the day they stay dry.
When it's cold i sweat under my armpids.

17. How is your bowel movement and stool type?
my stool is hard and painful, sometimes i don't stool for 7 days. There are days when everything is ok, and i stool even twice a day, but i don't know what it depends on-every day i eat a lot of fibre, and avoid chocolate.

18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping?
I have problems with waking up-i often oversleep.
I have problems with falling asleep becouse of physical feeling of anxiety catching me in my chest. It comes on a thought of having something to do, or a thought that i haven't done something (even if it was not very important), or just any thought.
I often can't fall asleep becouse of thinking of food-fear that i've had too much during the day, or thinking of the food i'm going to have the next day.
I can only fall asleep on the side, with a hand under my pillow. There are periods of time when i fall asleep only on the left side, and then a period of sleeping on the right side.
I have a constant fear of oversleeping so when i have to get up early i wake up many times in the night.

19. Do you think you are able to satisfy your sexual desires in general?
I don't have nay problems with satisfying myself while masturbating, but i have problems with getting satisfaction when having sex with a partner. I concentrate too much on a partner, and have problems with following my own needs. I hardly ever have orgasms with my partner.

20. What peculiar or strange sensation do you have in any part of your body at times? Do you sometimes feel ‘ as if…..’ in some part of the body?
Recently i feel as if i had strings pulling my shoulders forward and towards my chest, so that i can't open my chest wide enough.

21. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication?
When i was a child i had a Werlhof’s disease (thrombocytopenic purpura).
I've always had problems with digestion system-when i was a child i was taken to hospital becouse everything i have eaten i either vomited or had a diarhorrea.
2 months ago i had a vaginomycosis, i was prescribed pimafucin, clotrimazol, and tantum rosa for irrigation. it was ok for a month and now it's back, but with a diffrent discharge.
I used nystatine, gynalgin, pimafucort, pimafucin, clotrimazol, lactovaginal, and probiotics like lacibios femina.
creams like pimafucort and clotrimazol soothe the external genitals, and allowe me to function normally. Other medicines helped but for a short period of time.

22. What major diseases are running in your family?
My mum suffers from vaginosis as well, my father and sister have kidney rocks.
My sister also has problems with intimate infections.
My family is generally quite healthy, no one suffers from any serious diseases.

23. Describe, how do you look like? Describe your overall appearance.
168cm, 55kg, proportional silhuette, hourglass shape.
big grey-blue eyes, short, straight, blonde hair (naturally light brown).
I have quite pale, quite thin, nad very smooth skin, with noticable veins under.
I have skin with redness, and breaking capillaries.

mia,

you will need more than one remedy to cure yourself fully but the one which is a similimmum to your acute vaginosis is BOVISTA.

probably, most of your problems would be solved with this remedy and the taken the rest of the digestive problems shall be and treated with your constitutional remedy which is most probably nat mur or lycopodium.

for now, please take BOVISTA 30C thrice a day ( every 6 hours )for 2 to 3 days only and watch the changes in the next few days.

once you know that the remedy is creating a reaction, come back to me for deciding the regime for permanent cure.

rishimba last decade
one dose would consist of 4 drops of remedy in 10 ml of water sipped up slowly in empty stomach.

no food or water one hour before or after taking the doses.

avoid coffee, mint, garlic and raw onions for the days you are taking the doses.

Thank you very much for quick reply :)
I bought Bovista D30 as pharmacist informed me that they've never had C30 in liquid form.
I'll keep reporting any reactions.

thats fine.

you may take D30 about 4 times a day, in intervals of 4 hours..

when you feel a change in your symptoms, bring it down to twice a day till you are completely cured of this problem.

Hello,
I followed your directions, and i've cut the doses after 4 days - to 2 a day. I felt huge improvement and i've stopped taking does last weekend. unfortunately after a week-this weekend-i felt that symptoms are back. Again i feel tingling, and tickling in my vagina i have a sensation of opening in minor labia. I have small discharges, and grey'ish coating inside my vagina (though it's not typically mycotic and white).
While taking doses i did not feel any special symptoms, apart from the fact that i had problems with stopping myself from drinking for 2 hours (before and after the doses).
I wolud be grateful for your advice.

best regards
maja

... i forgot to notice that itching around my anus is back as well, and problems with stool stayed the same. I haven't stooled for nearly 3 weeks so i decedied to try mixture of Plantago psyllium husk, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus bifidus, and oligosaccharides (prebiotics). I'm taking it twice a day, it worked well the first day but next two days the problem was back.
just letting you know, becouse i know it might make a difference.

its good that the remedy has worked.

first take care of your constipation problem by taking some roughage and eating well, exercising and having plenty of water etc.

once your bowel movements are fine, you should restart the treatment.

start with the same potency, take 4 times a day, every 4 hours and as soon as the itch stops, you should bring it down to 2 doses a day ( morning and evening ).

continue for some weeks and then bring it down to once a day for some more weeks.

now, as the potency is working, i am not going higher. but, if the problem doesnt get solved permanently with this potency, you may have to go higher to 200c.

anyways, keep me updated every week till you are fully cured.

thank you for your quick reply.
AS i wrote in previous posts i lead a very helthy lifestyle-i workout a lot, i don't eat bread, avoid chocolate, eat a lot food rich in fibres, every day i eat pran, flax seed, oatmeal, veg, fruit, fish, diary products like natural yoghurts, low fat cottage cheese etc... i don't eat fat things, junk food, potatoes, pasta, bread...
Every meal i prepair by myself, so i don't eat half ready products, like porridge etc...
I drink plenty of water, at least 3 liters a day, and about 3 mugs of green tea.
I don't really know what else i could do to improve my bowel movement.
probiotic yoghurts used to help me, as well as some herbal teas, but right now i only end up feeling painfully bloated all the time and having offensive winds.
could you please suggest me what else can i do?

best regards
maja

mia005 last decade
as i have told you earlier, your constitution is either lycpodium or nat mur.. although i am not sure, which one..

both the remedies cover bloating and constipation very well.

you have said that you drink a lot of water and still the bowel doesnt move. this points out irregular distribution of water in your body as the main internal pathology and the remedy for this is nat mur.

i would advise you to start taking NAT MUR 30C one dose every day morning in empty stomach for some days till the constipation problem is solved.

take it for a week and come back to me with the changes.

if there is a change felt, you can continue nat mur alternate days for some more days.

rishimba last decade
Hello, i'm letting you know, that i have been taking nat mur for the past week. At the same time i cought a cold, and been taking some basic medicines for cough, running nose etc. for eg. aspirin, which always coused me constipation, winds, and bloated stomach. Maybe that is why i havent noticed any improvement, on the days when i was taking nat mur along with the other medicines.
though i must say that last 2 days are much better-i'm having small stools few times a day, winds are gone, i don't feel bloated, and i have a nice feeling of emptiness in my belly.
should i wait and see what's going to be the reaction without other medicines, or change nat mur to something different?

best regards
maja

mia005 last decade
nat mur is your remedy.

you may stop other remedies or medicines and just take one dose of nat mur 30c in the morning.

once, the feeling of well being returns, stop the doses.

it it recurs, take weekly doses of 200c.
