The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Kuldeep,Murthy,Sharma

Hello, I started to hear the "sound of Night" (Crickets) about three months ago, the first 2 to 3 weeks it was very low and was not bothering me much. Then it started to get loud and i approached an ENT (Professor at YALE) and he said that it must be an infection behind the ear drum and asked me to give it 6 weeks to go away, After 8 weeks i went back again and he said that there MIGHT be some irritation in the nerve endings and asked me to see after 2 months, I took a secome opinion and he also says there is absolutely nothing wrong with my ears or nerves or the brain stem or the Brain itself, is there a cure for such tinnitus wherein there is no physical evidence? If so please let me know.

Thanking you
Sunil

I don't know where are you living. If you are living in India you can get Tellurium-30 30ml bottle. Take 3-5 drops mornings and evenings and try to have a 1/2 hour gap between any food or drink before and after medicine.

Or if you are not in India, most probabley you will get the medicine in pills. Take 3-5 pills morning and evening same way.

Actually if you wake up at night take another dose after rinsing your mouth. That is the best time to take a homeopathy medicine.

Do you know what the cause could be sor this type of tinnitus?

Thanks

Are you taking or took any antiacids like Zantac, Omeprazole, Lansoprazole.... or Pepto Bismol.

Or may be any other medicine.

Once tinnitus starts, it does not go away by itself.

kuldeep last decade
Actually no, I usually take Tylenol or Advil and also Alka Seltzer that's it nothing else, I once listened to loud music and it started the next morning, But the ENT says that just listening to loud music for a few seconds does not casue it. What is your opinion (My hearing is normal with some high pitch hearing loss, which the ENT again said was not unusual) The most frustrating Aspect is that the ENT's are not able to give a single satisfying answer, Have you come across anyone who got rid of this type of tinnitus?
Thanks for your replies

I know (from another forum) that such tinnitus (Meniere disease) was treated (successfully) with sal-ac (nat-sal is similar).

it was caused by overdosing of aspirin in a flu though.

Following are the tinnitus causing medicines.

Alka Seltzer is one of them.

If it is liquid take 3-4 drops under the tongue and if it is pellets take 3-4 pellets under the tongue and keep a gap of 1/2 hr. for food or dring before and after the medicine.

If you get relief there is no need for next dose.

Kuldeep,
What is your opinion of High Pitched Hearing Loss associated with tinnitus?

sunil last decade
Tinnitus is the nerve problem. Nerves are faking up that noise, may be they are deprived of some thing. high pitched hearing loss is common with any ENT problem.

But it is not serious, your ear will be fine soom.

The reason i am really worried is that I have taken the expertise of three of the best ENT's and they all say that they cannot do anything and when i told them about the alka seltzer they said that tinnitus must have been gone after you stopped taking it, It's just so very confusing.

All you need is just one dose of tellurium. You may never need another dose. So why delay.

Kuldeep I took a dose of tellutiumast night and also one when in i woke up at 4 am, When should i expect to see some change. If i see no change how long should i continue tellurium?

Take no further dose and wait for two days. By the way what is the company's name on the bottle?

It is from the most Prestigious Homeopathy stores in Hyderabad named Sagar Homeopathy Stores, Have you heard of it?

Kuldeep, is it possible that the tellurium will claer my sinuses, I have a chronic sinus along with this recent tinnitus and now my left nostril is draining a little

sunil last decade
Tellurium';s cheif action is at the left. In some cases drainage is a good sign and in some it is not.

You never discussed about your sinus problem.

kuldeep last decade
I overloooked the sinus as the ENT's have constantly bombarding me that the tinnitus is not caused by sinus, Should i still take tellurium or not? For some reason yesterday i felt that my tinnitus was low compared to other days.

sunil last decade
I never saw Tellurium to fail but at least you explain us about Sinus so we can know what is going on with you. Sinus is the main cause of tinnitus. It is the overactive nerves at eardurum. You may have too dry ear. Or may be your ear is not producing enough wax. Did you notice if you have an acceptable quantity of wax in your ear?
