Severe sinus congestion at night

This for me. I am 58,very overweight. After hurricane Ivan hit Pensacola, we were left with all kinds of mold. Shortly after, I started having trouble with my sinus at night. Sorry to be so graphic, but in order to explain better, I must. Congestion starts as the sun goes down(or so it seems). It feels as though my nose slams shut and then I get a lugy(feeling that something is stuck behind my throat). I cough up what appears to be a white jelly substance. Until I take a decongestant, I can't breath though my nose. Even with a prescribed one, if I lay on my right side, the left side opens up and the right side closes and the vise-verse. I want off of the decongestant because it is affecting my kidneys. Any homeopathic for loosing weight will greatly be appreciated.
