Paralysis patient need suggestion
Any doctor can please suggest some good medicine for my father.Age:72,male
Diabetes mellitus for 15 years. Hypertension for 20 years.Got an attck of brain storke ( City scan resports shows: atrophy of a vein.) Paralyzed after the stroke in right side.After taking pysiotheraphy for 1 years now he can walk slowly.
Present compliants are he has been diagnosed enlarged prostrate(USG report), with high creatinine-1.54 micro ml.now diabetes is -17 normal range is 7. his both foot became swelled for 6 months.
Now i want to reduce diabetes and feet odema. his blood pressure is alos- 160/85. pls suggest any remedy to resduce his blood sugar and feet odema.

His somme detals are as follows:
1.Fear of falling when walking.
2.too much fear of thunderstorms, He is so much anxious and got fear during thunderstroms.And fear if he see that storms or thunderstors may happen within some minutes.
3.Sensitive to noise.
4.He is by nature has a tendency to hide( His waekness, fear, appetite, etc etc)
5.His temperment is normal.Clam.
6.A pequilair symptoms is - though he cannot walk properly but he checks the doors , windows etc whether it is locked or not ant night, Sometimes he reapeats the checking. He is too much cautious. At night he often tells to close the doors.
7.He is hot not chilly. has fear of death now. Feels thirst hardly. And takes water little.Like fish. chicken,beef.
8.He cannot move his right hand,but peculiarity is-in the time of yawning ,his right hand moves automatically.
9.Always sleep in right side.cannot sleep in left side.
10.Feels good ,when consoled.
11.Talks loudly and loquacity.(he was too loquacious before his stroke, but moderate loquacious)
12.cannot speak clearly.(speaking problems)
13. he has much patience as nature.
medications: Has taken causticam , thuja, amon carb with no remarkable change. 5 days ago taken opium-10M . He is also taking syzyzium zambolinum- Q and Urinium Nitricum -3x for controling sugar but no remarkable change.
Taking 8 to 9 allopathic medicines daily for his ailments. After detecting enlarged prostate and some kidney problems doctor omitted metformin, and after stoping metformin his diabetes increased as 17. but 3 doctors told there is major kidney problem.
Pls suggest medicines to reduce diabetes and foot odema first and paralysis.

you may try PHOSPHORUS for your father.his mentals and generals indicate phos.
you can give him PHOSPHORUS 200C morning - evening - morning ( only 3 doses ) and then wait and watch for next 15 days.
please dont repeat causticum now as its inimical to phos.

My 2 cents...
Phos is chilly (except in head and stomach troubles). Patient is hotty. I need not emphasize the importance of thermal profile and modalities to you. Phos MAY not be indicated.
From the first reading of the symptoms, arg nit or Ars Alb may be indicated.

i see no other remedy which is as close as phos in terms of mentals and other general symptoms.

I see your point Rishi. It does look like Phos but for the thermal profile. Thats where scope for some other remedy comes in. Lets see.

if phosphorus works on him, many of his problems may get reduced. lets try and see first.

Other than fear of thunderstorm, all the symptoms including thermal make up point to arg nit.
Kent says even if several keynotes match, if thermal modality doesnt, then the remedy is not the right choice.

an elderly phosphorus man will have all kinds of fears and that is what i see in your father.
argent nit';s behaviour is rather erratic and he does and says things in hurried and un-organised manner. he himself probably doesnt understand that.
if you describe his mentals, the right remedy probably can be found out.

patient took phosphorus-200 two dosages according to your instruction before 25 days ago, after 7 to 10 days only clear improvement in his feet odema, the swelling was decreased about 60% for 7 days. After that he could not felt improvement and feet odema again started. Pls suggest what to do now?

you need to continue phosphorus 200c about one dose every week till this potency works on him.
if the potency no longer works, you have to go for 1M potency.

I attempted to give him phosphorus-200, but recently he took cold seriously with pain in chest right side.Pain is aggravted when he lay in bed but when sittting or standing position pain is very less. There slight cough also. Main thing is he cannot lay in bed in left side at all, if lay in left side pain, cough is aggravated.
In this condition can i give him a deep acting medicine like phosphorus or not? Just waiting for your suggestion

there is no improvement of after taking phosphorus-30C every four hours. Just he can now lay in left side. Dry cough, After repeated cough,and try no cough is come out. Yester day night cough was aggravated.
Pls ,suggest something,his feet odema also increased.

i believe this is common cold and this will get cured in about 5 to 7 days. please be patient.
once the cold is over, you can give him phosphorus 200c some 3 doses on a single day and then wait for the odema to reduce.
a sustained dosage of phos 200c once every week will gradually cure him.

I have returned after 4 months.Because after last post, he was hospitalized and diagonosed,as hydropneumothorax in lung specially right lung. He became so serious, then he was operated and about 1.5 litre pus was drained by operation, and doctors detected that a very big abcess was in his lungs.After this his pus was drained for 18 days by drain tube. He took several allopathic medicines and injection in hospital. After this by examination his pleural effusion he was diagonosed as TB. Now he is taking anti TB medicnes for 3 months and some drugs. For his feet odema, he took diuretic injection for many days.
but now his feet odema is very much,odema is from his feet palm to knee, and increasing upwards. He has taken Arsenic-200, and last 7 days ago medorinum-10M one dose, with calc phos-12x, natrum-sulph-12x, kali phos-12x. But no effect.
It was suspected that as he taken Phosphorus-200 before his lung abcess(4.5 months ago), so by the destructive nature of phosphorus, the suppressed ailments were manifested as lungs abcess.Though phosphorus-200 gave him much results including odema.I am in fear to give him phosphorus again.
Pls suggest some medicines for his feet odema.

**If the patient is hot and thirstless Apis 30 thrice a day for few days should help.

But as he diagonosed TB and taking anti TB medicine(Allopathic), may be it is risk to take Phosphorus any potency. And another thing- from opium high potency, his odema also reduced before. At present his BP and blood sugar is high.Pls suggest for his odema of feet.
