This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
What you're experiencing is edema — that's when excess fluid collects in your tissue. It's normal to have a certain amount of swelling during pregnancy because you're retaining more water. the only thing to worry about your swelling is when your blood pressure is elevated (two separate readings taken at least 4 hours apart of 140/90 or more) and 300 mg of protein in a 24-hour urine sample (proteinuria).check these things. elevate your legs whenever possible to minimize swelling.wear loose fitting clothing and avoid stockings.go for short walks.and dring lots of water.it will help u retain less water.
