I agree with Mahfooz's general directions. Apart from that you may give your child a remedy named Sulphur, only after the child is 4 months old. Put one pill of sulphur 30c in half a glass of water and from this solution give only one drop to the child(Use a disposable dropper).

I agree with Dr Mahfooz. thats exactly how it works. also researches have proved certain other ways to boost immunity....
1) LEMON -it restores acid-alkali balance of your body. Drinking freshly squeezed lemon juice in water, or adding it to tea, salad dressings helps maintain the body's internal 'climate' at a pH which supports healthy bacteria instead of the viruses and harmful bacteria .thus increasing your immune capability
2) PROTEINS and VIT C(an important anti oxidant) are building blocks for your immune system.
3)exposing out in COLD..playing helps your immune by releasing endorphins.scientists have proven that being indoors causes inhaling dubious air and bacterias producing cold and flu more than in people who plays out in cold .
4)our body responds to EMOTIONS...thus keeping yourself mentally healthy and happy makes u develop greater immunity. When u are stressed u tend to get more sick.

my humble clarifations on suggestions made above
1. If lemon is not taken with hot water, it may cause cold and cough. If it is taken with hot water it strengthens immunity. It should not be added to tea that contains milk.
3. exposing out in COLD..playing helps your immune by releasing endorphins.
Adequate care should be taken and unnecessary adventures should be avoided.
