Then started homepathy and was fit till a minor motorcycle accident 2005.
Current status :
1.Pain originating from left side lower back extends till bottom of left foot.Walk with a distinct limp.
2. Left hip painful to touch.
Cannot sleep pn left side
3.Pain worse in cold weather
4.Bending causes dizziness and pressure in ears.
5. Height : 5'2, weight :75 kgs. Difficulty in losing wieght.
6. Hydrotherapy twice a week.
7. Prone to stomach disorders
8.Prescription NSAIDS discontinued because of liver inflammation.
Desperately need a Homeopathic advice as cannot take allopathy.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
An update:
Left leg has tingling sensation and feet swell up as if filled with water.
I do not know if stiffness in left arm, neck and wrist are connected but I might add it here just in case.
I was in extreme pain and a pharmacist here recommended ANTIM TART 200 : 4 pills three times a day.
For cold and Fever which has lately becpme very frequent he recommended:ANAS BARB 200 4 pills for 3 times a day for a week.

Will be immensely grateful if i can get some help on this.Lastly, I was hoping to get opinion from doctors on this forum. I have been suffering for 4 years and every doctor (Allopath) says that have to go for surgery or take Cortisone for tempraray relief. Also not to try for a child or can end up paralysed! Currently I as per doctors am showing signs of 'muscular Atrophy'..which I have no clue what it is?My question is: Can homeopathy heal me? Will it be possible for me to have a child one I get better? I am 30 years old.

Thank you in advance to all those who put in their time and effort to help those in need.

day 1
please take three doses of Lycopodium 200c at a gap of 4 hours.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 4 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 3-4 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

day 2 to day 15
please take 2 pellets each of the following tissue salts thrice a day at a gap of 4 hours
natrum sulph 6x
kali mur 6x
calc phos 6x

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Please report back after 15 days. A homeo remedy is suggested on the basis of symptoms and it seems that lyco may help you.

Take this as a second opinion.

You may try phosphorus 30c three doses on a single day to see how it impacts your problems positively.

Hello,
Thank you maheeru and kadwa for responding.I was losing hope that maybe my case is beyond help or even trying.I could not bear the pain last night and took prescription NSAID :(.
Anyways, two questions for you:
1.What are tissue salts? If I go to shop and mention the names with 6X, do I add 'in tissue salts form'?
2. I have Sulphur 200 in store, shall I still go and buy Sulphur 30c ?

I will start with the first advice and provide updates here. So you can decide accordingly.

Thank you once again.I do realise that you guys are doing thi taking time out of increadibly busy schedules. I appreciate it.

Just go to shop and mention the names with 6X, thats all.

2. I have Sulphur 200 in store, shall I still go and buy Sulphur 30c ?
i suggested lyco 200. Maheeru suggested phos. You are talking about sulphur!!

Phos follows Lyco well. So if you don't see any result after the medication suggested by me you can safely follow Maheeru's suggestion.

Update:
On a scale of 1 to 10 , pain now is fluctuating between 6-7.
I had along with tissue salts started Osteopathy and because of fever and tonsilitis avoided Hydrotherapy.
Sorry Kadwa and Maheeru about the Sulphur Phos. mix ...I was dizzy with pain and fever. But I havent taken that and started with Lycopodium.

As of now,I am also taking Vitamin C 1000 mg once a day to avoid cold, tonsilitis which has become rather frequent. It is summer here and temerature is 39 deg.
AND Calcium Complex with D3 and magnesium.

Currently, small toe on left foot still has pain but I can feel and wiggle other toes. Right hip and a point in buttock still hurts when I walk.

Should I continue medicines for getting better ...at this point small activities like making breakfast triggers pain?

Thank you doctors for your time.

If you had seen some improvement with Lycopodium, wait for some more time and up the potency.

If you have not seen any improvement, then proceed with phosphorus 30c alone.

========

Do you have fever and tonsilitis now? If yes please hold on further remedies and give us the clear picture of the current symptom profile.

maheeru last decade
Yes, I felt better with Lycopodium. So I should then up the dose which would mean higher potency or ?? Sorry I get confused with 'less is more' principle in homeopathy :(
Shall I take only lycopodium minus tissue salts?

I do not have fever only dry cough in the morning and a runny nose. I also have to take all precautions to keep myself warm even though it is summer and have had to reduce Hydrotherapy to once a week since it aggravates dry cough and tonsilitis.I carry AnasBarb and Aconite 30 as preventive.
Thank you doctor.
Good Day.

You may go ahead with phosphorus 30c and let us know how it goes.

Dear Crankycrab,

I'm not a doctor but a male patient of a similar problem at L5-S1 - one vertebra lower than yours. As per convention there is no cure for this problem but homeopaths have given me hopes and this far I'm cured of the sciatica, awaiting further cure which is slow and patience demanding.

You cannot medicate yourself based on suggestions from the public. Get to a professional homeopath who will analyse your entire health profile and give you some medicine - normally one medicine at a time. You should expect some worsening of the problem initially or even everytime you take a dose. The doctor should keep you free to call him/her up anytime you need him/her.

You should try to tolerate some aggravation which is a sign of cure. Serious aggravations can be controlled with antidotes like hot concentrated coffee, hot Nescafe, strong and stimulating smells like that of camphor, wintergreen oil, eating of raw onion or raw onion juice, etc.

Try to read up and acquaint yourself with the science and its principles, antidotes, etc, so that you are well informed. Giving the doctor information on your health which doesn't seem connected to the problem is also often important.

Wish you best of luck!

crankycrab

How are you doing now?

myopinions:

It's not necessary to get aggravation to the point of using anti-dotes. And apart from certain antidotes like camphor, coffee(universal antidotes for most of the remedies)other stuff are specific for a few remedies only.

It shouldn't be taking so much time for your sciatica to resolve. You may present your case with relevant details on the forum which would enable some homeopath to help you out.

Hello,
Maheeru:
My sciatica has been there for past 4 years...no amount of changing shoes, mattress, yoga is able to 'cure' the problem. Pain reduces for a few days at most and comes back probably because of slipped discs.
Phosporus 30 c or the medicines before that is keeping me from being bed ridden but I am still far from resuming normal life.
Not much difference to be frank.

I do not drink coffee. And am struggling to shed weight I have put on past year since I stopped excersing again because of back. I seem to be stuck in this vicious circle where I cant excercise because of bad back and back won't get better till I lose weight :(

I am continuing with Osteopathy till body adapts and stops responding..it generally happens after 3 months when medicnes and therapies stop working.

I am hoping a homeopath will be able to help on this forum.

Thanks for asking.

Myoppinions:
I am an overseas student and getting a experienced and confident homeopath where I am is not possible.I have struggled so far to get therapist who have the qualification but not the experience to heal my case or atleast help me lead a normal life. It is only after exhausting my hard earned funds and medical insurance that I have turned to this forum. My last option is to give up on my studies and return to India which I cannot do without significant finacial loss.

My homeopath in India was fabulous and he cured me of host of ailments like acid reflux , acne and lower back pain. None of which has recurred since accept that a bad bump and skidding on a road bike in 2006 caused my already stressed lower back to get worse.CT scan 2009 showed prolapsed discs..why did I wait so long for a scan..because I thought it just a sprain :(..silly me.

My homeopath cannot provide consulations via email..not net savvy and anyways the postal laws and quarantine laws stop medicines here for weeks before it reaches me after going thru a few tests. So I cannot consult with him.

I continue to trust homeopathy because I have suffered for years with allopathy only to get a few other ailments free called side effects.Homeopathy set me free of carrying a pharmacy in my bag 24X7.. Trust me if I could I would go to a homeopath as you suggest but since I can only get Physiotherapists, Osteopaths , Chiropractors and Orthopedic surgeons where I am ...I make do with what I can get.

Thanks for sharing your case and I pray you get well soon in the course of this new year.
