Fluid in the ear?

I have a dilemma... all of a sudden I feel as if my right ear is submerged in water. For a day I could barely hear out of it. I called my PCP and asked if there was anything I should be worried about. The response was it is a fluid buildup in my eustatian tube and I needed to take Mucinex D for a week or two and see if it cleared up. If it didn't I should come in. Ugh.

Suffice to say, I won't take the Mucinex or the Sudafed the pharmacist suggested in lieu of Mucinex. I am not sick ( that I can tell) and the onset of the underwater feeling happened out of the blue with no warning. I have been to the chiro and that helped a little bit. I have been taking a tincture that I give to my daughter when she has a runny nose that has yerba mansa in it but it addition to making the underwater feeling go away for a little bit, it makes my nose run like a faucet.

Any suggestions for what I can do homeopathically? It makes it hard to hear my daughter and makes me fell funky..like I am off center ( inner ear stuff I am sure). I just want it to stop. I have no other symptoms of being sick other than being crabby : )

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
Michelle
