Losing Hair

Hi everyone. I am a 51 year old female, and have been losing hair dramatically over the past year. As any woman can identify, female baldness is not a pleasant place to be. I do not know the cause, but hope you can make some suggestions as to remedies after hearing a bit about my health. I started losing lots of hair beginning about a year ago. In front and all along the top is now very sparse - very embarassing. I went through early menopause at 38. Other than still continuing hot flashes, I have not suffered other negative effects. After 13 years, I don't see that my hair loss would just now kick in if it were related to menopause. I fear heredity. My 83 year old Mom has extremely sparse hair in front and on top. BUT she's 83 for goodness sake - Im only 51. 8 mos ago, I completely quit using any products that contain sls or parabens. Use only organic shampoos and makeup. I take vitamins and EFA/GLA supplements. The only other health issue I have that I can think of is some bleeding gums. Got rid of toothpaste with sls too. I don't know if hair and gums are related in any way. If you have any remedy suggestions, I'd be most appreciative. And I'm happy to answer any questions you might have for more information. Thank you in advance.
