Breast pain

I have been seeing a homoeopath for about one year with two problems, chronic muscle pain (possibly fibromyalgia) and a chronic throat problem, probably the result of glandular fever years ago. Although I had many aggravations and some very unpleasant old symptoms returning, there was no improvement of any symptom. Eventually the homoeopath decided it wasn't working for me, and I'm no longer seeing her.

One of the remedies she prescribed, Thuja, brought back a symptom I had had a long time ago, intense pain in the left breast, which I used to get pre-menstrually for the second half of each month. (I am no longer having periods). The homoeopath prescribed Foll, but it didn't have much effect, and the pain continued for about three months, with the right breast also becoming involved.

It went away eventually, perhaps about six to eight weeks ago, but two days ago it came back gradually, starting at night. It's a very intense pain, but I can't work out whether there is some muscular involvement, as my shoulder and chest muscles are very tight, with trigger points. There seem to be a couple of trigger points at the upper edge of the breast tissue. When I move, there’s a sort of shooting pain in the breast, and at the same time it feels as if something is moving in the breast.

I am worried that the homoeopathic treatment has left me with yet another problem! I'm afraid to take any other remedies, in case I get a bad reaction. I wondered if anyone had come across anything like this before? I'm concerned because it seems so peculiar.

I should say that many other remedies were prescribed, including the glandular fever remedy, Carcinosin, Ignatia, Arg. Nit., Bacillus number seven, Germanium, Plat., and there were others which I'm afraid I can't remember.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
A very effective means of neutralizing Homeopathic medicines (universal antidote) I found in my practice is:

- Aloe 30c and Hydrastis 30c taken together (2 pills each), twice daily for 1 week. You should see your symptoms getting better.

I can suggest medicines, if you follow this and write to me back.

If I were you I won't risk taking the above 'emperical' medicines.

Go back to your homeopath. He will sort it out.

Thank you both for the suggestions and advice.

Hi Murthy,

I could understand your ignorance on the healing power of Aloe and Hydrastis but could not understand your rational about going to the same doctor. God bless.
