Please help with homeopathic remedies to treat my 5-month old daughter who is suffering from eczema with itches and scratches

Please help. We just returned from PICU, where my 5-month old daughter was under intensive care for having bacterial infection in her blood. She was discharged from the hospital but now the itch continues and she is having a really hard time sleeping at night. She wears socks but they are not helpful because she still can scratch herself. That was how the problems started with the infections.

Would someone tell me what pellets would be useful to treat the itches. I would be very appreciative.

Thank you

Hi,

Please speak in further detail about pregnancy (any stresses during pregnancy), child's behaviour, eating/drinking patterns. Anything which aggravates the child or improves her in general ?

Any perspiration ? If so, when and where ?

What makes the itching worse, what improves it ?

When did this itch start ? What was happening in your life at this time ?

Dear Sameer,

Please speak in further detail about pregnancy (any stresses during pregnancy), child's behaviour, eating/drinking patterns.

My wife had a normal pregnancy. Our second child was born C-section, because the first one was born C-section. The baby had trouble feeding early on, she would vomit every time she eats, either pumped breast milk or formula or directly from her mom's breast. She is improving, there are occasional vomits here and there, but those are very few and far from the earlier months. We saw a homeopath yesterday and she gave us some homeopathic remedies. They appear to help because the remedies control her fever and coughing. But we forgot to ask her about the itches and type of topical oils to relief the symptoms.

Sorry, for the lengthy reply but I am trying to provide you the most information as possible. Right now, the baby is on breastmild, directly from mom, for 90% the other 10% she is on Nutramigen, because her mom works.

Anything which aggravates the child or improves her in general ?

After my daughter was discharged from the hospital after the antibiotics and other drugs, the physician who treated her prescribed hydrocortisone and Aquaphor. But we stopped using hydrocortisone shortly because we found out that the cream would thin skin and later could cause asthma. Shortly, we started experimenting with aloe vera directly from the leaves, at first it did help but later on it burned the skin. So we stopped aloe vera.
Recently, we tried two combinations: 1) for bath, we use carrier oil Apricot Kernel and a few drops of Tea Tree oil, for its antiseptic properties. The bath mixed oil appear to be working, the baby is feeling comfortable.

2) for topical on body and face, we experimented Jojoba oil witha few drops of Chamomile oil. At first it worked great on the face, but was we got more ambitious, we applied more times the skin on the face burned. But the body is working really well. So we laid off the face treatment for now. NOW, we are regrettably going back to the Aquaphor because we are desperate and don't want to return to the hospital for treatment for others bacterial infection. Currently, our daughter's skin on her face is weeping and we are really nervous if she has infections but the homeopath gave aggressive drugs, such as Staph and silver biotics, briar rose, lithy tree and antimonium tartaricum.

Any perspiration ? If so, when and where ?

I don't recall that our daughter ever perspired.

What makes the itching worse, what improves it ?

The itch gets worse when we experimented with others natural leaves, like aloe vera, chamomile, and SWEET ALMOND OIL. Two days ago, we applied sweet almond oil but her skin had spots of small redness. Later on, her the skin on her face burned. We were hoping that the sweet almond oil would alleviate the itch but it made it worse.

When did this itch start ? What was happening in your life at this time ?

The itch more or less started after the 2nd month vacationations and recommended Aveeno from the pediatrician.

I will be more than happy to provide more information to you. I just hope someone can help us with our daughter's conditions.

Thank you.
