Asthma problem for my sone

Age = 6 years
Weight = 17Kgs
Height = 45 Inches
DOB = 1st October 2003

General history

The patient is a six year old boy of small to medium built.

Foods
The patient prefers cold food in preference to hot food. At most warm food can be given. Preference is for salty food compared to sweet food. Prefers to eat smaller meals but more frequently. Prefers to gulp down food with water and takes a lot of time to eat. Likes butter and cheese. Not very keen to try anything new to eat.

General habits
• Gets a lot of sweat on the back of his head. Breaks out in sweat on the back of his head even when he runs for a small distance and even in cold/conditioned room. There is sweating on hands and feet as well but less then the head. Sweating on the body is normal. The sweat is normal and neither excessively smelly nor excessively stainy
• Does not like to cover his body while sleeping. Is generally a very light sleeper and wakes up at the slightest sound. Prefers to sleep on his side
• Generally of a very meek and sensitive nature. He is not brave, fear experimenting anything new. Gets scared with small hurts. He is very emotional by nature, cries while watching TV on emotional scenes.
• He is usually very fidgety and cannot sit still. Preference is more for outdoor games compared to indoor games.
• He is of a sharp mind and has generally a good memory as well. Inclination is more towards mathematics and logical stuff than literature, fine arts or music
• Likes to talk a lot and to be heard with all attention. Generally feels good in company and doesn’t like staying alone.
• He is having umbilical hernia since birth but no pain
• Fears – Is afraid to sleep alone at night, is uncomfortable to be alone at any time day or night
• Does not feel much thirsty. Must be drinking about a litre of water in a day
• Has a history of broken bones in the hands three times. Very typically he is not careful where he is going or how he is running
• He has had an overprotective nanny in his childhood. After we shunted her out only he has matured a little bit and become independent

Family history

Mother has a shortness of breath although is not on any active treatment. Grandmother (Fathers Mother) has brochial asthma for the last 35 years. Father has allergic rhinitis which gets worse in rainy season.

Problem description:
• No problems noted after the first two years of birth.
• In the third year after birth developed sneezing problems predominantly in the morning. He used to sneeze 20 times on average daily morning. The sneezing used to be accompanied by watery mucous. The mucous has no colour and no smell.
• Some homeopathic immune boosters were given (name unknown). This corrected the issue of running nose and sneezing reduced to ~10 times in the morning. But at the same time another problem got initiated.. He developed idiopathic urticaria (Hives). The hives problem continued for a period of about ten months(Oct 2006 to July 2007). He had to be given a dose of anti histamine every day(Allerid). There was parallel homeopathic treatment that was given. Finally he was relieved of urticaria with urtica urens 200.
• It seems as soon as the urticaria went away running nose and sneezing came back with a vengeance. It was earlier only in the morning but is now happening in the day as well although predominantly in the morning (~10 sneezes daily). Since Oct 2009 The patient has developed wheezing. He is currently on cortico inhaler to manage wheezing
