wht is the point of dilution from original bottle?

i have one main bottle of a remedy

then i am supposed to put 1/2 tsp of that into another cup of water and take only 1/2 of that as my dose and throw the rest away

isnt that a waste of product and money?

cant i just take 1/2tsp from the original bottle

why the further dilution?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
You have been prescribed the SPLIT DOSE by your homeopath and this is referred to in the 5th Edition of Hahnemann's Organon.

The split dose is used to maintain the level of the remedy in the body after the ailment has been cured.

It is interesting that Hahnemann did not label the remedy when it is made by inserting just 2-3 drops of the Liquid pack of any remedy in Ethanol into a bottle of spring water. I was associated with Dr Luc de Schepper who first introduced this method of dispensing Homeopathic remedies to patients in 2005 when he was here in Sri Lanka to treat the survivors of the Tsunami.

To my surprise I discovered that this method worked far more effectively that the standard Lactose pellets and since there was no definition of this method of dispensing a remedy in the Organon I labelled it the WET DOSE and this definition seems to have stuck as there are many hits on Google today for the 'Wet Dose' although not all of them pertain to Homeopathy.

I now use and promote the Wet dose method exclusively and many of my colleagues who are qualified and practice in Sri Lanka and abroad have also followed my example as they have discovered that this is by far the most effective and the cheapest method of dispensing Homeopathic remedies to patients.

Please type 'WET DOSE' into the search box at the top of the opening page on this Forum to read the many posts there that can give you an insight into the Wet dose method of using Homeopathic remedies which is by far more effective and safer than using the standard pellets which are referred to as the Dry Dose.
