mono with extremely enlarged tonsils
Daughter, 11, diagnosed with resolving mono. Tonsils are huge, speech is affected, sleep is affected. Breathing mostly through mouth. No fever, temp consistently 98.1 or so.BLonde, blue eyed, pale complexion, lives in Alaska, tall, sturdy, talkative, dry skin,low energy. All of this for 6 weeks now. Case of the Swine flu in early November with high fever and cough, painful skin, inconsolable. Swine flu resolved middle of November. Mono set in around the first of December. No real symptoms except a 12 hour minor sore throat, low energy and HUGE tonsils. Help. Done nutritional IV, cranial sacral therapy. Tonsils are way to big.

Have you given kali mur 30 to her? If yes, what was the response?
If it didn't work you should do the following -
Please give her three doses daily of Arsenicum Album 30c at a gap of 4 hours for 2 days and report back after 7 days.
One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 3 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.
Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Thanks so much. The Kali Mur significantly reduced the size of her tonsils. There is space now between the two. The left one is more reduced than the right. The right is still very large. She is still breathing through her mouth during the night because the tonsils relax and block her airway. Should I continue Kali Mur until I see even further tonsil reduction? Or should I move on to something else?

Yes, you may continue with Kali Mur 30. You should give it to her for 2 days then wait and see. If improvement is taking place on it's own you should not give the remedy unnecessarily. If the improvement has stopped you should give the remedy for 2 days and then again wait and see. If Kali Mur stops working you should try arsenicum album in the same way.
