Help with tooth pain please

My son in law has terrible teeth. Cavities, broken off, rotten off to the gum and some days he is in terrible tooth pain. Once in awhile his gums and one side of cheek swell up, he looks like a chipmunk. Some times his gums swell to where he can hardly put his teeth together. He takes Pau d'arco, it seems to releive some of the pain, but it takes a long time to work. He cant afford to go to the dentist yet, but would anyone have any suggestions of what can help? Can suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Myrrh mouthwash (dilute a couple of drops of myrrh tincture in a small amount of warm water) will help. Also consider taking COQ10. The main problem may be the gums at this stage - there are remedies for gum disease but their effect may well be limited if the offending teeth aren't treated by a dentist, sorry!
