Serious Depression-Dr. Sameer

Dr. Sameer,
I have been suffering serious depression for a long time. Now I believe that I am in a stage that I need professional help.
I am 40 years old, married and have two children. I have no friends beside my wife. I always stay home after work, like to stay isolated. My mood changes very easily. Always fatigue, depressed and scared of something bad will happen. Due to this situation my family life is going down hill. I even don't like any company. Like to stay alone and dream a lot. Always tired, can't get up in the morning and I have to because of work and it makes it even worse. At my work I can't even concentrate to any thing. Sometimes I don't even find the perpose of living in this world. I took some medical help here and they prescribed me Pexil, an anti depressent, which caused more issue in my charectarestic that I was compelled to stop taking it. I am in lot of stress lately. I understand this is not fair to my family and relatives but phisically and emotionally I just can't turn around and do the right thing. By google search I found this forum and hope to seek help from you, if it is something cureable. I am seriously requesting to you if you can help me to overcome this dragging day to day life.
I know you are a very busy physician, would you be able to help me?
Please let me know if you have any question. I'd do my best to provide you the requirements.
