suffering

Hi everyone and thanks in advance for your help!

I am known to be quite a prover, and so I have kept my hands from homeopathy for a while. On the weekend I was nauseas and had digestive problems, so I took Nux Vomica (I think a bit too much). The next day I had nerve problems in my legs. I can hardly move them. The top and insides of my thigh, from the hip bone, burns like someone is sticking a knife in my leg when I move. I also have a fever that I cannot seem to shake. Diarrhoea for a full day came next and this morning I woke up with very painful red spots on my legs that look like bites, but they don't itch, they are just very painful (one is even open)

Of course my homeopath is 100% sure that I'm proving. The doctor that I went to - who said he doesn't believe in homeopathy - said I should have tests done, and such severe symptoms cannot arise from taking some sugar pills!!!!! Of course I defended the power of homeopathy - knowing my history and how I prove every substance that I take, very heavily!

My intuition says I should just let it take its path, and not bother seeing a doctor. But next week Wednesday I'm flying on holiday and I don't want to have this pain. Is there any way I can stop it????

Any comments would be appreciated!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
In what potency you have taken Nux Vomica and you took how many doses? i don't think that the kind of proving that you are reporting is possible after taking Nux Vomica. It should be something else.

Potency was D12 and I took 3 little balls, 3 times a day for 3 days. I know that this is not a very high dosage - and nux vomica is really pretty harmless - but the symptoms I'm experiencing are exactly the same as what is described under nux vomica indications. Also the coincidence would be just too great that it would be something else, since it all started coming up directly after taking it...

I just woke up and the stabbing nerve pain in my upper thighs has gone. I drank lots of peppermint tea yesterday. Maybe this helped...

Hello,
U've not defined what potency u've taken. If your symptoms are decreasing then dont worry. But If your symptoms are increasing then u should consult a doctor. And after all homeopathy does not believe in giving different medicines for different afflicted parts of body but rather give one single constitutional remedy, which will cover the disturbance of the whole person. So you should take a constitutional similimum remedy by a good experienced homeopath...
