Anal Fissure

I am suffering from anal fissure from last 8 months, it is not very inside, it is on outer lining.
blood is not much, sometimes a drop, some times just a tiny spot, when I take stool softner and laxative it doesnot bleed, but when I stop it bleeds like once a week or once in ten days.

Pain is after passing stool,it goes after 30 minutes to 1 hrs, I am taking high fiber diet, some times I take isabgol. Some times it feels that anus is geting sore or hard. So I take sitz bath when I feel discomfort is more.

I feel itching also, and I think it started because of itching, last year when my I shifted job, I got night shift, and due to change in stool going times and biological clock changed i got itching, so may be i rubbed it hard and after that this fissure came, and now it is not healing. Now i dont rub and after some time itch subsidise itself.

My stool is not very hard but first 1 inch of stool is some times hard and whenever that is it opens that fissure. and due to night shift I pass stool during night around 12:00 AM , and that time I see blood spot, in day time i havent seen spotting.

Due to night shift,I sleep around 4:00 AM morning till 10:00 AM, then after BM i go to gym as in night shift your physical activities are very restricted, so i joined gym. Then I have my lunch(breakfast for me) around 2:00PM and then sleep around 2 hrs to get ready for my working. Dinner at 9:00 PM, and then some snacks at night as feel hungry working till 3:00 AM.
I not very senstive, but get angry quickly and then also cool down quickly. Like medium spicy food, but now very limited due to fissure. NO major illness, had stone 5mm couple of times 2007 and 2009, passed it. No anxieties, stress some times related to work, but basically cool person.

I apply Anovate cream when i pass stool, but I stopped as some one said it has steroid. and now applying olive oil, but i think it is not helping so i am looking to switch back to Anovate cream. from alst three weeks I am taking Homeopathy medicine..but it is not beneficial, dr changed medicine after 2 weeks but now pain has increased. What medicine doctor is giving generally homeo doctors dont tell, just they give you a bottle.

Please help me in getting this off, I dont want to be habitual of stool softners and laxatives, I want a permanent solution. or at least log term.

Please repost your problem on the thread below which deals with anal problems:

You can just copy and paste your posts to the thread above.

In the meanwhile do NOT consider surgery as it is never ending.
