Fluid in lungs also has asthma

Hello, I am hoping someone here can help me. My fiance' is 41 and was dx last night with fluid in both lungs.

He had the flu (regular, not swine) about 10 days ago. He has had asthma for about 20 years now and his highly allergic to cats. (in case that helps)

I had him go get natrum sulph yesterday before going to hospital and all they had was 30c.

I have read how natrum sulph helps with fluid in lungs, but I see that 6x is recommended. Is the 30c ok for him to take? As I said, all the stores around here only have the 30c.

If ok, how much and how often should he take. Right now, I have him taking 4 pillules at a time.

They wanted to keep him in the hospital and told him if he waited one more day he'd be in the ICU. His mom is a retired registered nurse, so they let him go home with oxygen. They gave him prescrip for valium and prednisone. They gave him one vallium while he was there, but has not filled either prescrip. He may fill the prednisone. They said it was just for one dose to help with any inflammation.

Neither one of us likes to take any medication at all, however, he does use an albuterol inhaler for his asthma.

He is having a very difficult time sleeping and has alot of lower back pain. They did lots of blood work, white blood cell count is high, thyroid low.

He did have high blood pressure, but over past 2 months now has normal or low bp. I have him taking apple cider vinegar in the morning, 100mg coq10 3x day, 3coconut oil caps 3xday, vitamin d3 5000mg 2xday, gse 10 drops 1x day, Emergen-c 3x day, cal-mag supplement takes at night, pomegranate juice takes at night. All this has helped his bp go from 150/101 to 115/75. He ranges between 112-125 typically. Never goes anywhere near 150 now. Doctor couldn't believe it cause she said 'you've gone past the help any diet or food can give you'. We showed her! She said'Good job', but still didn't quite believe it was daily normal/low. It was 129/78 in hospital.

They let him go home with oxygen only because of his mom and that she is there to help him. They gave him a peak flow meter which when healthy he typically gets reading of 240, currently only at 190. They said if it goes below that, he is to come right back in and be admitted.

I told him to drink lots of fluid and no dairy or wheat. Is there anything else he should be doing? And again, my main question is the 30c natrum sulph ok for him to take since it is not 6x?

Thank you for any help, please.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
*He is thirsty or thirstless
*He prefers cold environ and open air or warm environ and being covered.
*How is his present mental state like he is fearful, worried, depressed, indifferent etc. Please write some 3-4 sentences on that.

I should also note that he did take 2 doses of the natrum sulph 30c 4pillules each time before going to hospital. He took one dose around 11am next around noon. Went to ER at 5:30.

On the way home from ER at 1am, he mentioned that old pains/symptoms were coming up. He had injured the knuckle in his right index finger a couple of years ago, pretty bad. He said it started hurting again.

Also, he had rabies shots in his legs about 18 years or so ago and where they gave him the shots started hurting again.

May be due to the valium, but he said he was having dreams that were very vivid. Said he wasn't sure if he was awake daydreaming or sleeping.

He has been under an immense amount of mental stress for some time now also. He did not sleep much at all last night he said. Stress and back pain are keeping him awake.

Should he refrain from using teatree oil while on natrum sulph? Even if he waits 30 min or more after taking?
I just thought of that. I should've asked here first before telling him to add it to bathwater. Not sure if he's done this yet, he was going to try to get to sleep.

He was drinking nettle tea while he had the flu. I had him stop drinking it several times a day when his bp kept lowering. Now, takes it once every few days or so.

Also He has the Bach Rescue Remedy Sleep, but it doesn't seem to help him. Never has really helped him at all.

kadwa,

Thank you for responding. He says indifferent to thirst. I've had him drinking so much water and coconut water past month.
He does prefer warm or hot teas to drink presently.

Prefers cold environment or open air as warm or hot environment no matter how 'pure' the air makes it hard for him to breathe.

He has lots of mental stress and did not list any other mental issues. Slightly depressed, but that is due to some current situations, not depressed for no reason. Disappointed, frustrated may be better description.

Also, has not used the teatree oil yet. He will call me before he does. (live in diff states due to me trying to sell my house) Frustrating not to physically be there to help. Doing the best I can long distance. :(

He is physically exhausted as he is having trouble sleeping due to the low back pain mostly and stress.

Last night the dr asked him when he last slept and said he looked horrible.

He told him he had slept the previous night and dr found it hard to believe. Everyone at work yesterday also said he looked pretty bad.

He is in chief engineer of the largest hospital laundry facility in the country and has alot of stress. Plus with us being apart, that adds to it along with his dad is very sick too.

Sorry, forgot to also mention he had a massage last week and when they did reflexology on his feet, he said it was very strange. He said he felt 'cold blood' go up his leg. I told him it was probably stagnant there and they helped get it moving.

They did check him for blood clots last night and came back negative.

He has been mentioning that ever since his bp has turned to normal/low he has been feeling chillier. Even sleeps with covers over him now, where he used to sleep on top of them. Even has slept with shirt and pajama bottoms/pants on, which he NEVER does.

Not sure if it's because of bp or if it's from him having the flu. He feels it's because of his bp.
He used to be sooo hot all the time and cold temps never bothered him. Even now cold air doesn't bother him, but he doesn't mind putting that jacket on now or having blankets on him.

If he is thirsty and chilly his remedy is Arsenicum Album 200c. If he is hot and thirstless, his remedy is Apis Mell. 200c. Please give him the indicated remedy some three doses at a gap of 4 hours and see how he responds. You may also consider Carbo Veg 200 later if the first remedy fails to work. Nat Sulph 6x would have worked better. But anyway you don't have it.

He does not have any of these on hand or even in local stores. I will have to order any of these and overnight shipping. In this case, should I go forward with ordering Nat Sulph 6x then?

If that is the preferable remedy, I will place order immediately so he may have it by tomorrow or Saturday to take. None of his local health stores carry anything but 30c. I have same problem in my area.

I pray it doesn't take til Monday for him to get it. He goes back to dr on Monday for follow up. If he isn't any better, they are admitting him.

So, should he stop taking the Nat. Sulph 30c altogether then and wait for the Nat. Sulph 6x if that is what I should order?

Thank you so much for your assistance!

Ars., Apis or Carbo Veg. may be given in 30c potency. But it is better to have 200c potency for each of these at hand. Natrum Sulph 6x should give you the best results. There is no point in giving Nat Sulph 30c if it is not helping.
