Son's Case
Over Christmas he had a Sinus infection which led to a throat infection and an ear infection (left ear).Gave Bell, Cham, Lachesis, Hepar Sulf, and Tubb for 5 days by advice from Homeopathic Doctor. As far as I could tell his infection was gone by day 6 (intense pain was gone) but some symptoms remained and some changed.
Since then I have given him 1 dose of Sulfur and 1 dose of Pulsatilla by advice from John Stanton.
His current symptoms:
Glands on neck, under ears, are still swollen. Still has trouble hearing from left ear. His head feels warm, but temperature is normal, 36.2'. Says his eyes are itchy, they look dirty from dishcharge. His right eye is red. Lips are still dry and chapped. He gets tired easily, weepy when tired. His eyes are tearing. He is rubbing his eyes, especially the right one. He has a runny nose (clear). Says his ear is still itchy.

either need adjust potency or over action of puls --but looks like over-action
nux-v primary antidote--this also cover use of many medicines--settle things --give new start --retake case--and see what is what --
puls indicated as overaction especially if sclerotic blood shot in spot.not big area but small spot
another indication is energy level if not improved in 1-3 days after remedy-reguardless of symptoms--then not right direction
my suggestion is 1dose nux-v 200c before sleep---retake case in 1-2 days time (if need) and see from there.

Suggest study CALCAREA CARBONICA. And please do not give more than three remedies in the case of children's fevers and sinus/head/ears type of problems as it DOES confuse the issue and is hard to recoup. Does Tubb mean Tuberculinum? Seldom a choice with children's fevers and head stuff.
Sulphur good choice as it settles what is happening and prepares the body to heal. When remedies are working and then seem to stop, but one is sure they are correct, a dose of Sulphur in the am usually resets the progress for the remedies to resume their work.

if rubbing a strong characteistic, then need to know whether it is giving a relief by rubbing the eyes.
of course need to know what part of eye,eyelid,..etc is actual itching --it seems to be eyeball ;but ?
also the red eye--is it streaked?striped? or ??
when during day seem and circumstance/temperature...etc rubbing eye the most.?
of course all questions based on assumption that rubbing is strong characteristic.

ok--sorry but cant get sons case off my mind---ive gone over all emails you sent in past concerning son--the eczema history sticks out--if post that here as you sent me (entirety) --this will help others understand---
what i cannot find in all the information is correlation between when glandular problems begun--date?age?

History in short form: from emails sent to John.
Rash over body few days after birth.
Allergic reaction at 7 weeks (not sure what), swelling of joints. (used anti histamine)
Very bad cradle cap that spread to rest body at 7 weeks.
Infections (used antibiotics) every 2 - 3 months. Seemed after every vaccination.
Vaccinated at 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 14 months.
Infections: ear, tonsils, bronchial, mouth.
Allergic reaction at 9 months (egg white), rash, swelling of joints. (again anti histamine)
Seemed to have be aggravated by dairy, took dairy out of diet at 18 months. (always dark under eyes, overly hyper active)
Got better.
Saw homeopathic doctor at 2 years - gave remedies for eczema and allergies.
Eczema came out - now on calves of legs. (has remained there since)
Attitude became better. Repeated remedies at age 3. Attitude became much better.
Saw homeopathic doctor at 4 years - gave remedies for infection in scrotum, eczema and swollen lymph nodes.
Attitude became much better, lasted 6 months. Repeated lymph cleanse every 6 months, became swollen every 6 months or so.
Saw homeopathic at 5 1/2 years - gave remedies for eczema on calves and swollen lymph glands.
The eczema has always been a part of his life in one form or another. The swollen lymph nodes, I am note sure if he has always had that and only recognized it after the homeopathic doctor pointed it out. I know that he became a healthier, happier person after the lymph cleanses.

Added milk back into diet about 1 year ago.

rash staying even with all treatments tells two things--son have vitalness and nderlying cause not addressed--i see glandular problems as secondary response to improper treatment of ill-ness to this point--that includes myself improperly diagnos---sulpur not touch it---so i begin to think what is going on---not positive yet ---but i am inclined to think nitric acid --

I have 'The Complete Family Guide to Homeopathy" by Doctor Christopher Hammond at home. I also research the remedies on the internet for more detail.
This is what it says about Nitric Acid: (I noted all that suit our son in brackets)
Headache (yes - says he has headache when stressed or agitated)
Winter Colds (yes)
Mouth Ulcers (yes - canker sores often)
Sore throat with sharp splinter pains
Skin cracks and fissures (dry skin)
Offensive discharges (yes - ears)
Worse for touch, jarring, cold air, morning milk (sensitive to touch)
Better for gliding motion, mild weather, warmth, pressure
Also:
Scalp is very sensitive, hair may fall out (very sensitive scalp, hair come out if wrong shampoo used)
May suffer from deafness and catarrh in the ears (left ear, from infection)
Worse for noise (yes)
Putrid breath (bad breath)
Increase salivation, corners of mouth sore (always have to tell him to swallow)

Ear - The ear itches deep inside - there is not much discharge coming out. When it does it is hard and yellow. He talks about his ear feeling dirty. He tries to get his finger in to scratch it out.
Finger Nails - Yes he has some white spots on his nails.
Other - He cried when I picked him up from school this morning, said he was very tired. His teacher says he does well in school, doesn't cry, plays well, etc. Felt re-energized after eating lunch.

His sleep during the night is good. His eye is getting better, have not treated it.
Sorry, yes Sabra, I did mean for Tubb to mean Tuberc. I did this (more than 3 remedies) by advise from professional trained homeopathic doctor I see. It made it hard to know which remedy helped but I am thankful that something did help him.

I am totally astounded and shocked and sick to my stomach that this mother has not (i presume) taken her child to the doctor!!!I mean medical GP atleast for treatment..i have two young children and use a variety of methods to treat their ailments...i can not believe a mother who loved their child would not seek medical advice for a child who is obviously crying out for help!!! Please for the love of God take your child to the doctor...PLEASE!!!! i will not be able to sleep tonight for the thought of this sick little boy...

Administrating too many Homeopatic durgs at atime to childern does not work at all.
As far as possible avoid Homoeopatic drugs to children till age of 15 yeard. The homeopathic drugs sometimes changes basic constitution of body if it not properly selected.
The sinus, tonsils and eye troubles in the children are mainly caused due to allergies to dust/pollans/etc.
It is advisable to consult Eear Nose and throat specialist to find the basic cause of troble.
My son is having similar kindly of problem and after investigating matter further it is due to polyps in nasal cavity and differntial pressure of breating due to narow opening of left nose.
