Lichen Sclerosis
I was diagnosed with Lichen Sclerosis about a year ago. I recently found out about a product called - Beta Mannan. Has anyone with this condition tried this? Please let me know.Thanks

From what I've read on the net it [beta mannan] is good for many conditions but Lichen is not among them. So you may not get any takers on this one?.
From a homeopathic point of view it is related to psoriasis, or the Psoric Miasm.

Beta-mannan has been used successfully to treat HPV infections diagnosed by a pap smear. The treatment of choice is an ultrapotent topical corticosteroid.
Daily use of these creams or ointments can stop itching within a few days and restore the skin's normal texture and strength after several months. However, treatment does not reverse the scarring that may have already occurred.
Sexual abstinence and monogamy are protective.
Condoms may discourage transmission.

I think beta mannan will work since it made from beta glucan. I've been taking beta glucan 1/3,1/6 10 mg.And my lichen sclerosis seems to be going away. No more itching! No more bladder infections. Beta glucan(from the walls of bakers yeast) cures alot of diseases:Cancer,HIV,herpes,arthirits,auto-immune disorders,skin problems & more! I've been taking it for 1 month-it works!I also take chromium picolinate-both of these kill bacterial,fungal and viral infections. Do yourself a favor and try it!
