Mother's illness
My mother is 67 yrs old, house lady ...active and enjoying her life. she has been basically treated though homeopathy for Bronchitis/dry cough...which is now under control. for couple of days she complains about.1. heaviness and pain on the right side of her lower abdomen ...like it pressuring downward and would come out.
2. during urination she feels pain on that particular area mentioned above.
3. Urination is inconsistent, some time the frequency of urination becomes too high and then she does not go whole day ...
4. She said her mouth remains dry with feeling burns on her tongue and mouth (as ones feels after taken very hot drink).
5. she easily develops blisters/mouth ulcers specially after taking allopathic drugs.
6. She also has numbness on her right arm which, doctor said, due to osteo-arthitis.
7. Often Constipated
8. Sleep/appetite is normal
9. can't tolerate smoke/noises
10. Cough is in control limits but aggregates in open air and in evening. (Uses Ant tart/Ferr phos/Kali Mur ).
For Contipation, she has been given Nux, plumb,alumina.
Please prescribe remedy for her ailment of abdominal pain and pressure (downward)

Please give her three doses of Sepia 200c at a gap of 4 hours for only one day (not daily) and report back after 15 days.
Please don't give her any other homeo remedy during 15 days.
You may give her 2 pellets each of the following tissue salts thrice a day at a gap of 4 hours from second day onwards if she has cough.

I have given her three doses of SEPIA 200 as told. She was diagnosed as having Prolapsed Uterus of 2nd degree case. and doctor said she needs an operation.
The immediate (10-12 hrs) feelings she told me after taking three doses....are like some relieved/lightness in lower abdomenal area...and less cough during sleep.
Just FYI....will keep you posted.

The Lab reports have arrived and Doc said she has third gegree of prolapses. My mother has also some kind of infection as seen in her Urine report. The doc further asked for KUB Ultrasound test.
On the other hand, the patient is telling that after having sepia 200...there is much improvement in symptoms like she does not feel buring and prolaps condition during urination and backache is also under control.
some also suggested to add a remedy named 'HELONIAS DIOICA -Q' with your sepia 200.....
I need your suggestion to mave forward.

The reported symptoms of mother clearly pointed to sepia and sepia worked. Now the question is when we should repeat the dose? The dose should not be repeated until there is worsening of symptoms. There is no need to give another remedy when Sepia is working well. Sepia is one of the best remedies for prolapsed uterus and should be allowed it's course to work. i could comment nothing on the surgical option, that you should decide after making proper assessment of the situation.

Sir, Thank you for your reply. I will ask her to wait and see the progress being made through Sepia. The operation would be our last choice.

Dear Sir,
KUB ultrasound Test results showing only prolapses 3rd degree...no stone or cystitis.She was ask to drink extra amount of water before test and after an hour she got severe pain in bladder area ...which subsided immediately after urination. This might be due to compression of bladder due to uterus dislocation with bladder filled.
The patient, however, telling that she has again the prolapse during urination this morning but no pain or buring.
The dry cough is slightly aggravated today.

Mother should be given Sepia 200c again if her symptoms worsen. Please make the assessment on your own, the main symtom to be taken into account is uterine prolapsus. There won't be any harm if the remedy is repeated as already 2-3 days have passed since the last dose. But it is better to make the assessment. Why to repeat if she is improving under the influence of the earlier dose.

Thank you...I will follow your instruction. One question....how long this remedy be given to her...I mean will it give her long lasting cure in some point of time?

Actually we expect that every single dose that we give should give long lasting cure, but if it doesn't give that we review the case and take an appropriate decision. We can only administer the remedy, the cure is effected by the vital force. Homeopathy is like philosophy and fiction. Nothing can be said with certainty but it works many times.

3. Can not tolerate allopathic drugs..(Paracetamol group and Antibiotics) gets her cough aggregated with burning mouth feeling.
Her prolapse U case in in better condition....I have given her one more Sepia 200 dose....please suggest.
