Need help to avoid Miscarriage

To all the doctors on the forum,

I'm 40 yrs old, female, married for 10 yrs. We've been trying to have children for the last 10 yrs but with no luck. We've been going to the fertility clinic for the past 8.5 yrs & we're both medically fine. Doctors have described it as ‘unexplained infertility’.

During the first year of my marriage, my periods were around 9 to 12 days late but didn’t do a pregnancy test – that time we hadn’t started to go to fertility doctors. Over the yrs my periods were overdue a few more times but home pregnancy test was negative. With fertility clinic we have gone through various ‘Clomid’ and IUIs cycles and lately have done 2 cycles of IVF.

With IVF, I got pregnant, however, both times it ended in miscarriage after about 8 weeks when baby’s heartbeat suddenly stopped. Doctors couldn’t figure out any apparent reason for miscarriages. Now I am planning for the 3rd IVF cycle with frozen embryos by mid April.

I am about 5’2” and weigh 170lbs. During IUI cycles I gained a lot of weight. I’m healthy with no major problems. My periods have always been regular but were heavy before marriage. I do get clots in bleeding.
After I got married, I noticed that during my periods my sensitivity & emotional level rises.

I do, however, have severe constipation problem since childhood & as a result have extremely painful & bleeding hemorrhoids & I think I have ‘fissure’ too. I’ve never been to the doctor regarding hemorrhoids. For constipation I took ‘Dulcolax’ and ‘Skilax’ for yrs but now I take ‘Prune Juice’ regularly which helps a lot.

As a child, I’ve had severe asthma but, as doctors predicted, I grew out of it but still get very slight attack of it sometimes. I get out of breath quickly especially when I climb a few flights of stairs.

I’m sensitive to cold touch…I can’t stand anything cold touching me…I do like to drink cold water, though
State of mind is depressive, frustrated, and irritable at times. I‘ve always been afraid of going to the doctor maybe because most of my childhood has spent going to doctors. I’m scared of pain & have a low tolerance of it.

I tried to describe my history & if you need to ask anything else, please feel free to do so.

Please prescribe something to prevent miscarriage in the future & that I should be able to carry the pregnancy to term & deliver healthy baby.

Also, do prescribe something for the constipation & hemorrhoids if there are no side effects.
