medicine in herbal and homeo potency
Is the result of homeo mother tinctures i.e. Damiana,Tribulus Terrestris,Ginko Biloba,Gensing,Muira Puama, same as used in herbal form?drsalehsiddiqui on 2010-03-13

Homeo MTs are herbal extracts and work like herbs. Homeo remedies work at dynamic plane only in the potentized form.

Homeo mother tinctures are usually taken from pure herb, at times while making Q potency, it may be diluted - it is standardized.
The herbal stuff is in opposite way - focus is to concentrate more and more. Also, the source of herb might be different. If something can cause allergy or it is toxic, effort will be to remove those allergens or toxins.
Herbal X and homeopathy X potency move in different directions.

Also sometimes a herbal tincture can be different the way it is made: leaf, flower, bud, bark, root, skin.
Damiana is usually from leaf, but can have mix of flower or root.
