5 1/2 yr old w/ constant clear runny nose

My son has had a clear constant runny nose and wet cough since he was 2. Took him to a holistic dr and she prescribed allium 30c. He was also taking ippacac for car sickness and Calc Carb. I had noticed that his runny nose was coming back and increased his allium to 200 c once a week. Again, it started coming back, so now he takes allium 1M once a week. However, that doesn't seem to be enough for him anymore. It seems to work for a few days and then the runny nose starts in again. My question is this: do I give him a higher dosage of allium and if so, what would that be? Or do I switch to another remedy altogether? He is a big boy (and always has been even at birth). He is sweaty and has very sweaty feet and hands. Has a very weak stomach and showed high levels of acid in his stomach that we were able to control w/ acidopholus. He eats well, but way too fast! We have to remind him to slow down. He is a solid 5 yr old and weighs 73lbs. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
*whether he prefers warm surroundings ie whether he likes to be covered or he prefers cold surroundings and open air.

*whether he has a mild disposition or an irritable diposition. How is his attitude towards his friends and relatives?

*At what time he feels better and at what time does he feel worse like in the morning, evening, late night etc.

*How is his thirst for cold drinks, hot drinks and water?

*How is the bowel movement? Normal, constipated or loose.

*Whether the child prefers to move around or prefers to keep still.

*other physical complaint if any

*Prefers open air-gets too warm under covers, but loves to make a tent house w/ covers during play time and will stay under there for long periods of time to play. However, he would much rfather play outside than inside even in our cold winters.

*Normal/mild disposition-Great attitude towards friends and family. Super big brother. Loves both is younger sisters with all his heart! Well behaved boy :).

*Runny nose: worse in morning and throughout day-constantly wiping his nose until it's raw. Cough has gotten better over the yrs, but usually kicks in at night.

*He loves cold milk and water. Does ask for drinks throughout the day or will go and get it himself.

*Normal bowl movements-usually 2 a day.

*Prefers to move around unless the tv is on. He would then stop whatever it is he is doing to watch tv. I believe this is because we limit tv in our house and it is used as a privilege. He doesn't get to watch much b/c we'd rather have him play and be active.

*Sometimes complains of legs hurting (or what we call growing pains). And he has sweaty feet (ever since he was a baby) and they tend to itch under his toes and sometimes they are split like a cut under his sweaty little toes. Is there anything for sweaty feet? I would be interested in that too.

Thanks for getting back w/ me!

Please give him three doses of Pulsatilla 30c at a gap of 4 hours for 2 days and report back after 10 days.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 1 drop in some 10 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 15 minutes before or after taking medicine.
