questions about homeopathy..
how can u expalained to people who misunderstood about homeopathy? did homepathy have side effect? how long this medication will remain in our body? can it be transfer to baby through the breastfeeding?mimiyumi on 2010-03-20

how can u expalained to people who misunderstood about homeopathy?
**A homeo remedy acts as a stimulation to the vital force. A remedy that is selected on the basis of totality of symptoms has more chances to stimulate vital force. So case taking under homeopathy is altogether different as the physician is interested in knowing the totality of symptoms ie mental symptoms, physical symptoms, thermal preference (prefers warmth / cold - open air), time preference (feels better in the morning) and causative factors.
did homepathy have side effect?
**If any homeo remedy is repeated without indications it may result in remedy proving ie the patient may develop additional symtpoms that he didn't have earlier and which the remedy is expected to cure for the sick person (as per it's Materia Medica). There is difference between remedy proving and disease. Remedy proving goes away on it's own as the dosing is stopped.
how long this medication will remain in our body?
**Every remedy has it's own duration of action. No remedy is expected to have it's proving effects after it's duration of action is over. It doesn't mean that for whatever cure has been effected will be undone after it's duraton of action. Proving effects are created by the remedy and cure is effected by the vital force. So these two things are different.

A baby is dynamically one with her mother due to breast feeding and very close emotional interchange, therefore the baby may also respond to the remedies taken by her mother.

3-5 drops of chelidonium Q (mother tincture) thrice a day
