prolonged menstrual periods

Dear Dr,

I am having periods for about a month.. recently I have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism with TSH level 5.55.. I delivered a baby last year in april, after that i got my 1st period in sept 09 and bleeding was there for about 10 days.. my next period came in feb 10 and I ave been bleeding heavily for more than 1 month .. Please suggest me what medicines should i take?
