Anal Fistula-Fissure

Hi Mr. De Livera

I have been suffering from an abcess/fistula for the last 3 months. I was searching thru the web to find a natural/homeopathic way to heal my fistula and I came across this forum. I have been following your advice to cure my fistula religiously for about 3 wks. now. I am a 43y F who is generally in good health. I have a child who is 14 which I delivered vaginally after a long, difficult birth with the help of forceps and an extreme episiotomy (cut like a 'V') which came VERY close to the anal opening. After my son was born, I was hospitalized with the flu for 5 days and was checked constantly for all the tearing. I was also checked a week later in the dr.'s office to make sure everything was fine with the healing. I healed perfectly with only a case of hemorrhoids from the pregnancy and the birthing process. Occasionally, the hemorrhoids would flare up and I would take over the counter medication to calm them down. Currently, I am using Neo Healer and both the internal and external hemorrhoids are nearly non-existant. About a year ago, I noticed a change in bowel movements, probably due to a lack of hydration. Didn't think much about it. My family has a history of constipation and hemorrhoids on both sides. I just thought it was 'normal' because I was getting older and your body goes through changes. I ended up developing fissures from the constipation which healed on their own. Now...my current situation was caused by myself by accident. A few months back I was in the shower shaving my legs and bikini area and the razor slipped and I felt I cut myself in two spots close to the anus. I didn't think much about it and cleaned up with soap and water and let it be. About a week later I was using the bathroom and notice a few drops of blood on my underwear. With inspection, I noticed the blood was not coming from the anus but actually from a little cut about an inch from the anus towards my right leg. The cut is actually on the episiotomy line. (On part of the 'V' scar.) I occasionally have pus (very, very little), but mostly when the location gets irritated, a few drops of blood will ooze. I also notice that the cut (tiny abcess) is on a vein in that area. Right before the abcess will burst the skin in that area will get pink and blue in color. It will heal up beautifully in a day or so and there will be no sign of any trouble in that area including any discoloration. I have modified my diet and am finally having normal, healthy BMs daily without straining or cutting myself. I believe this perineal location was a weak spot for me and just happened to arise from the puncture wounds. I have very little pain, more like if I got a scrape in that area when it's irritated. I am a health freak and have been juicing veggies and fruit on and off since my late teens when it wasn't cool. I also take different supplements on occasion like aloe vera, Vit. E, Vit. C and Thisilyn (Milk Thistle). I normally have very, very fast healing skin and great skin and hair. I know from reading all these posts not to expect an immediate solution to my problem and try not to dwell on it. 'Not Dwelling' is easier said than done for me, but I try. I would like to know, how safe is silicea to take on an on-going basis? I can actually feel the fistula cord or track externally. Once the internal part of the track is closed up, will the silicea take care of the scar tissue or will I always be left with the feeling of the track? I believe part of the scar tissue is from the episiotomy repair. I also have been keeping track of all the food that I'm eating and you're 100% right that certain foods trigger irritation. For me it's dairy, any type of beef/pork, and spices. I would like to thank you for all your insight into this condition. I sometimes get a little kooky when there is a flare up and I resort back to looking at the many posts that are on this forum. It does indeed help to know that I'm not alone. Thanks again from the bottom of my heart!
