Fistula in Ano
Dear Sir,I am having fistula in ano for the last 3 months. It is knotty lump near the anus, exudates on and off and painful. Two months back local physician administered a dose of thuja 10M followed by Silicia 1M weekly. I have taken 7 doses of Silicia 1M. Three weeks back I took Hypersulph 30 twice a day for a week. And last week I took Hypersulf 200 and am waiting. Sometimes I feel the knot is getting smaller and fistula is in way of cure. Next time, I feel the knot has slightly increased, has become painful. It exudates sometimes and stops exuding the other time. I am very much worried about my fistula but I don't want to get surgical operation. I have full faith in homeopathy but it is unfortunate that I am not cured.
Should I take biochemic Silicia 3X, 3 times a day regularly for a fortnight followed by Calcaria Sulph?
Should I take Calceria Fluor 12X following or alternating these treatments. Please give me proper advice?
I have come to know that you have a complete treatment for this condition. I shall be grateful if you suggest me the same in my case.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
First, the Silicea potency was too high and too much. High silicea works differently and sometimes does not "push" out as we want it to. I have no understanding of the other choices made.
I do not see any reason for the Calc Florica.
I would suggest the lower Silicea 3X or no more than 30X.
Never more than once a week. It is deep acting and needs time to push out. If taken too often it may give you a sad case of direah.
After first week of Silicea, looking toward the second dose, add a dose of ECHINACEA 30C. (not at same time) You could take one dose every other day for 3 times. By this time you will be nearing the third dose of the Silicea. If it has drained properly and seems ok, skip the third dose of Silica and wait and watch. (Echinacea has 3 different names connected with it: Rudbeckia, Purpurea, and Angusifolia. all are correct)
By this time you should be reporting new/old symptoms keeping us posted as you go.

Hi Sabra,
I have been suffering from fistula near anus with multiple openings for five years. It dries up totally with external applications, sometimes of homeopathic origin, and sometimes of alternate medicine ie Ayurveda after aprolonged treatments. After reading various suggestions in this forum by you to patients, this time I started with Silicea 6X for three days which resulted in the boil burst. After that I started on Echinacea 6 three times a day. During the first three days not much improvement was seen but after 7 days there has been marked imrovement though little oozing is still persisting. I have stopped all medication with effect from 14th Nov. Please advise on future course. Regards.

I am encauraged to write to you and comfortable to see a
cure in our coloumns
I had abscess near the anus 5 months ago and when I visited the surgeon he cut and took out the abscess skin leaving a hole.The hole never healed fully and puss keep on coming for 2 months,
I approached another surgeon who operated it again .This time it was bigger hole and thi also never healed despite carefull dressing with betadine daily
finally It was diagnosed that there is a internal opening too inside anus..
Now Daily dressing and cleaning is done and 3-4 drops of pus comes out during the day.
It will either ooze by itself or I will have to squeeze it out which contains a little puss and blood.
Finally I started with Acid nitrium 6 and bellandona (twice daily) and Silicia CM once a week.
I am on the above treatment for about 3 weeks now
Please advice me how it will finally cure.Do I need to change medicine

You are advised to read all 16 pages of this thread and you should then be able to follow the clear instructions that I have given which have in many cases worked and helped the patients to get over their Fistulas without any further surgery which usually is never ending.
The remedies that I have used to help patients are:
Arnica 30c to heal the lesion
Silicea 6x tablets to drain the pus.
Nat Phos 6x tablets to keep the BM (bowel movement) soft
Antibiotic ointment inserted in the anus to keep the bacterial count low.
