Need to Understand what 1 dose means

I have a tube of boiron sulphur 30C.

The tube says to take 5 pellets 3 times daily, or as directed by your doctor, until symptoms are relieved.

I have read that it is better to take 200C one time, then wait to see what happens, and only take more if the same symptoms return after a period of time.

When it comes to the pellets, is each pellet 30C.... and am I then taking 150C by taking 5 of them?

If I want to take 200C this next time, can I take 7 pellets?

I am not really sure if each pellet is 30C or if 5 pellets = 30C.

And does taking 7 pellets = 210C?

I will have more questions, but once I know this answer, it will really help with other issues.

in a 30c bottle 1 pellet= 30c, 2 pellets= 30c, any amount of pellets in a dose= 30c.

To get 200c dose you have to buy a bottle of 200c potency.

Why does the company recommend taking 5 pellets at once?

Is 5 pellets 5 doses?

This is very confusing....

Wondering if I should not be taking 5 at once - if they are just being wasted....

Four to five pellets are ONE dose.

companies always recommend certain amounts of pellets - I suppose if you use more at a time you will need to buy more sooner..........

to answer your other bit - 5 pellets is one dose if all 5 pellets are taken at the same time..... and 5 pellets are 5 doses if the 5 pellets are each taken at different times.

If one takes more pills than the recomended dose there can be an aggravation. In India, Calcutta to be more precise, we get different size pills like 40, 30, 20, 10 and size 20 pills of different companies can be of different sizes too. So the dosage here is according to the size of the pills.
