Acid Reflux

me introduce myself - I am a male 45 yrs age, weight 63 Kg, Height 5 ft 8 Inch, from Mumbai India.

Since last 4/5 months I have been suffering from acid reflux. I consulated couple of renowned Gastroentrologist. Did endoscopic. Doctors put me on Omeprazole for roughly 2.5 months in addition to H. Pylori medicines. While taking the medicines things were perfectly alright. Whenever I would discontinue the Omeprazole, reflux sysmptom restarts again.

Symptom:

After 1 to 2 hrs of taking food, I would feel burning sensation in food pipe. Appetite is normal. Would feel thirsty even after drinking plenty of water.

Tried consulting good Homeopathic Doc in Mumbai. Could get appointment with good Homepaths as they are booked until July 2010.

I was looking for solutions for the above problems and that is how I came across your responses on above site.

I tried the Nat Phos 6 X ( 3 times) and it seems to help me, though it is premature to declare that it has worked. With Nat Phos I have reduced Omeprazole 1 time a day since last one week. From today morning, I have completely stopped Omeprazole and am taking Nat phos 6x. 3 times a day.

Would you kndly advise me the right doses or any other suitable medicines for the above problem.

Should I take Nat Phos 4 times a day in the beginning for a week and then reduce it to 3 times a day.

Should it be taken after every meal or with fixed time intervals.

How long should I take it?

I'll be grateful, if you could guide me with your enormous experience.

Regards.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Dear Mr. Sinha,
You have taken a good approach. I hope somebody will soon suggest good remedy.
I too have had similar problem. My friend suggested Nat. Phos. 6X. Only that he suggested that it is better to eat properly with Natr. Phos otherwise we suddenly feel too sleepy or something like that.

I too am compelled to take Pantoprazole but problems are more severe.

You are resorting to homeopathy at the right time. Technically speaking, it would be best to personally go to a good doctor in Mumbai.
May I suggest few names:
Dr. Navin Pawaskar (Dhawale Homeopathic Trust)
Dr. Prafull Vijaykar
Dr. Neil Madhavan

I do not know them personally so no question of advertising. I only mention them since they are most probably in Mumbai and you may see their articles, posts or books here and there on the internet which suggests that they are working very well for homeopathy.
