Broken Blood Vessel in Finger Turned to a Lump

Hallo. I have a strange question and it is probably too late by now. I have experienced broken blood vessels in my fingers several times in my life. It is definitely a rarity with me although it has happened.

About three weeks ago as tried to grab a heavy coffee mug, I felt sharp pain in my middle finger and it turned blue in no time it was very painful. For a couple of days I actually could not move it or use it and the pain made me think that there were subsequent hemorrhages in there. It was / is located exactly on my middle crease. Later the pain went away but the discoloration stained and now I have a small lump the size of a half pea (3-4mm). It is still painful to the touch a bit. Tonight as I was doing some gardening something in there exploded again and the discoloration became even bigger, the pain came back and I bet the lump will be fuller and bigger in a day or two.

So, I read up on it all the scary stuff about a possibility of a blood clot traveling to my lungs if I do not get it removed, and that, now that there is already a lump the only recovery is surgery, but I do not want that. I do not want scars and I am really not sure surgery will prevent it from recurring.

I am going to see my doctor tomorrow but I am really not looking forward to what traditional medicine has to offer in this case.

Please let me know, if you are familiar with the issue and if there are any other options. Thanks you so much!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Obviously your Blood picture is not correct.

Blue patch and lump formation. Take - Lachesis 1M. 4 pills once a fortnight on three occassions.

Rajendra,

Thanks for your reply. I am not sure what you mean by blood picture is not correct. Can you please explain. Thanks a lot.

This is the tendency of blood clotting earlier then usual or call it thick blood.

In some cases the blood gets thinner and there is scope of hammerhemorrhage. Excessive discharge of blood from the blood vessels; profuse bleeding.

Thanks for your response Rajendra. My doctor thinks it is a ganglion cycst and referred me to an orthopedic surgeon. Does this information change your recommendation in any way? Thank you!

To give knowledge of the ganglion cyst please read as under (Ref. Wikipedia) :-

'Cause
Ganglion cysts are idiopathic, but presumably reflect a variation in normal joint or tendon sheath function. Cysts near joints are connected to the joint and the leading theory is that a type of check valve forms that allows fluid out of the joint, but not back in. The cyst contains clear fluid similar to, but thicker than, normal synovial fluid. They are most often found around the wrist joint, especially at the scapho-lunate joint, which accounts for 80% of all ganglion cysts.

'If a ganglion cyst is symptomatic, it can be managed by aspiration or excision

'The traditional method of treating a ganglion cyst was to strike the lump with a large heavy book, causing the cyst to rupture and drain into the surrounding tissues. An urban legend states that since even the poorest households often possessed a Bible (referring to the large family Bibles), this was commonly used, which led to the nicknaming of ganglion cysts as 'Jillian's lump' 'Bible Bumps' or 'Gideon's Disease.'[1] This type of treatment is not recommended by some doctors as it can damage the area around the cyst and the cyst may come back anyway.'

So far as your cae is concerned, you mentioned that the cyst colour was bluish so obviously there was thick blood got clotted and the cyst formed alongwith the thick discharge.

Thickness of the blood is therefore requires to be corrected. Lachesis does this work. No harm in trying atleast one dose of Lachesis 1m.

Thread got disconnected.

So after two weeks of this remedy when the blood picture is corrected, you may have to take Silicea 1m one dose once. In case you have warts on any part of the body, in that case instead of Silicea you take Thuja 1 m once only.

Report after a fortnight.
