7yr old fever & swollen throat

My girls started Monday with swollen throat (just a bit sore) and a slight fever. Monday night dry cough started and fever was raised to around 101.5. Tuesday, cough continued and fever on and off throughout the day. She is not speaking either, very hoarse voice. Fever continues this morning, now cough is more croupy. Throat seems very swollen, but she says not real sore. Gave her some Belldonna, as this is a good remedy for her. Also, some Bryonia for cough. She is not cols, not hot, no chills, no sweats.She has eaten a little bit, no nausea, not fussy or complaining. Just laying around, silent and droopy eyelids (she gets that with fever)

Dear yellowjonquils,pl give her ARNICA 30C 4 pills 3 times a day for 1 day then stop and also start BC 11 & BC 6 of Dr Reckeweg's ,Germany 3 tabs 4 times a day with 1 tsf water.

I would have to order the BC remedies and it will take a week to get them. Is there a substitute? I can start the Arnica today. But tomorrow? How about Ferrum?

Dear yellowjonquils,if you have ferrum phos 3x
kalli mur 3x
kali sulph 3x
nat mur 3x
nat sulph 3x,
then mix all powders in equal proportions and give from that 3 grains 3 times a day.

Start Arnica as per advise.

Just took daughter to the doctor and her throat culture came back positive for strep throat. She has a swollen throat, but no pain and her fever is very low or not at all now, so it seems weird, but of course they prescribed Penicillin for 10 days! I got it, but don't want to use it.. what else can I do? Don't want this to turn bad but not treating.

I assure you you will not be any need to use Penicillin for 10 days,pl start with MERC CYANUTUS 30C 4 pills 3 times a day for 3 days and revert back,pl continue the BIOCHEMIC COMBINATION i.e

ferrum phos 3x
kalli mur 3x
kali sulph 3x
nat mur 3x
nat sulph 3x,
then mix all powders in equal proportions and give from that 3 grains 3 times a day.

pl revert back for any queries or if problem persists.

UPDATE: My daughter continued slowly to get well, but still had stuffy nose. Now, 1 week after strep diagnose, she has a sore throat today, still stuff nose and looks a bit pale. Not sure how to proceed. I stopped medications a few days ago after she seemed to be almost well.

My other daughter,got symtpms 3 days afteer the first, but never had a bad sore throat, but did have fever and a stuffy nose/runny nose and a congested cough. She is still taking Bryonia for cough, kali muriaticum,natrum suphuricum, & kali sulphuricum as you suggested in previous posts. No fever and seems perky and fine, with exception of cough (day & night)

& for cough stop brynoia & give biochemic salts as you are giving right now.
