memory loss
my father is suffering from severe dementia. This is due to him suffering stroke twice. Previously, he was alright and had no memory problems. he is taking allopathic medicines like ginkocer, ecospirin 75, and alfusin d for prostrate problems. but we also tries homeopathy. the doctor prescribed arnica montana-one mark in some cold water. but after administering him the medicine a few times, he began to grow sleepy. but he also began to show signs of remembering a few things like his sons, spoke a few lines in his pet subject literature. but his increasinly sleepy and drowsy manner is putting us in confusion. so we discontinued with his arnica, after which he can again sit on the bed. but he cannot speak or remember as he would if he were taking arnica.damdama on 2010-05-07

I do not understand what you mean by 'One Mark' but if you gave him Arnica Q in water, this may be the reason why he feels sleepy.
You can stimulate his brain with Arnica 1M in the Wet dose taken twice daily.
The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:
Order the remedy in a 5ml Ethanol pack also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard before you sip a capful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this shaking must be done every time before a capful of the bottle is sipped as directed.
