Bad Cough, Molar - plz help

9 days ago my son had very watery eyes. The next day his throat started tickling. That night he developed a cough - which turned into a croupy kind of cough by the next day (this isn't typical wake up in the middle of the night croup). I think it sounds croupy because of his asthma. This continued all week, with a changeable stuffy/runny nose, no fever, and generally feeling well most of the time. He could sleep through the night, but the croupy cough would be very bad at 6am every morning, better during the day, and worse in afternoon/evening. He had some minor intermittent head and earaches. 3 days ago he started complaining about pain in upper right. He is 7 yrs. old and clearly getting his molar in. I tried spongia tosta, phosphorous, and belladonna all for the croup cough. His cough is mostly dry but recently he gets a little mucous up now in the morning and evening (I also tried hepar sulph last night which seemed to get a bit more mucous up). I am very new to homeopathy. This morning I gave him a 30C of Calc. carb. because of the relation to teething. It's been 90 min. since dose and his molar feels better but no improvement in the cough. Another key thing is that he has a tickle in his throat (right at the tracheal notch) which can tickle more when he coughs. How long after a remedy should you wait to see results? I am very confused. We do have a homeopath but she is going through some personally difficult times and I am afraid is unreliable at this time. I don't want my son to end up with bronchitis so I really want to get some health improvement soon. Please help in any way if you can - I'd be happy to answer any more questions. Constitutionally he resembles pulsatilla, lycopodium (of what I can tell so far). He is warm-blooded, shy (but bossy at home), affectionate (selfishly), highly sensitive (physically and emotionally).

Thanks!!!!

Good morning.
Is it so that he coughs and coughs, but do not get up some mucous, during the day? Is completely tired of cough?

Hi - pretty much. He gets a little bit up every now and then, but not much. I wonder if you are thinking of causticum - I am in the midst of trying this for him. I gave him 3 doses today - we'll see how he is in the morning! He is not exhausted by the coughing really to answer the other question. Thanks - I'll update tomorrow.

Yes, i thought Causticum. A dose of 30C, not more. You have given three doses? Well if it does not help, or help a bit and then go back, try 200C. Only one dose, then wait a few days.
