Help - son has bitten his tongue badly

This afternoon my two year old son bit his tongue and now has a little under 1cm gash in it. It has now stopped bleeding and he seems OK, despite feeling his tongue every now and then and not being able to eat any more.

When he first did it, I gave him Arnica 30C, then just before bed, Ledum 30C (was going to give Hypericum instead, but I wasn't sure which was the best)

My question is if there are any remedies I can give him over the next few days to help with healing. I have first aid kits with 30C and 200C remedies.

Arnica and ledum are the right remedies. Now you may give him Calendula 30c thrice a day daily until the tongue is healed.

Thanks for your reply. It looks much better today, more like a cut and not so much like a hole! I will try the Calendula 30c, as you suggest.
