The ABC Homeopathy Forum

My 3 year old kid is burpimg while eating food.

My 3 yr old kid is burping while eating food. After eating couple of spoons of food, he is having tough time to burp, as is there is some gas stuck and he takes long time to burp. During this time he complains of stomach pain. We took to doctor's office and they put him on Zantac -4ml/daily. No help after Zantac, so they did endoscopy. The endoscopy results show no problem. So, doctor wants us to continue on Zantac. 3 months past..No improvement.

We are thinking on giving Alfaalfa tonic to him and also Probiotics...

Please let me know if there is any homeo treatment we can start.

Thanks for looking into my case. Here are the details:

1.Whether he prefers warm surroundings ie whether he likes to be covered or he prefers cold surroundings and open air.
He prefers open and play outside. He eats less, but has good energy to play, sign and run around in the house.

2.whether he has a mild disposition or an irritable diposition. How is his attitude towards his friends and relatives?
He has normal disposition, little shy. He plays very good with his friends and feels shy to play with new kids.
Attitude is very good with friends and relatives, open to them and recognizes them very well.

3.What physical problems, if any does he have.
From his birth, we found that he had mild kidney reflex. So, he was put under Bactrium antibiotic for around 18 months.
He had no procudure done. Looks like he has over-grown this issue. No medication now.

4.At what time he feels better and at what time does he feel worse like in the morning, evening, late night etc.
He has this problem only while eating breakfast, lunch or dinner. Because of this he is not abel to eat good meal and has not put up any weight.
Rest of the time he is fine and playing. He is fine When he eats small quantity like candy etc...

5.What do you think is the causative factor for starting his problems.
Maybe due to the antibiotics he got when he was infant.

6.How is his thirst for cold drinks, hot drinks and water?
Normal. He consumes some water while eating to avoid the burp/acidity pain.
He perfers mild cold drinks and water.

7.How is the bowel movement? Normal, constipated or loose.
Normal. Sometimes it is green in color.

8.Whether the child prefers to move around or prefers to keep still.
Move around a lot.

Please give him Phosphorus 30c thrice a day for 2 days and report back after 10 days.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 1 drop in some 10 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 15 minutes before or after taking medicine.
